Description
After being murdered for helping the wrong people, Tom is reincarnated in a medieval fantasy world with a unique gift: a divine system that lets him identify—and judge—evil people. Done with being taken advantage of, he uses his new abilities to hunt those who prey on the innocent.
Armed with bone magic and the power to steal strength from the wicked, Tom takes on increasingly dangerous targets. From corrupt merchants to deadly assassins, from blackmailers to evil corporations—his growing powers let him eliminate evil while his morality system rewards him for each victory.
But the line between justice and vengeance isn't always clear.
Taking a short break to complete Dave vs the Devil series. Should be back in a couple months.

- lavenderroeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This book is a thrilling and thought-provoking journey of justice and redemption. Tom’s reincarnation into the world, armed with a morality system that rewards him for punishing evil, sets the stage for an epic tale of vengeance and virtue. Watching him take down increasingly powerful enemies, is both satisfying and inspiring. the morality system adds depth, and the protagonist’s unwavering commitment to protecting the innocent makes this a deeply compelling read. A must-read!
- EddieMRoyal Road★★★ 3.0Good premise. Very poor story telling. Just meh! It reads like a grocery list or a bulleted learning lesson. There is just no flavor to the writing. The characters don't have realistic reactions (even for fantasy) and there's no buildup. Meh again! I'm not sure why the review is still telling me I need 50 characters even tho I have well over that count, but I am adding this so that I meet the requirements. Regardless, the points of my review remain.
- Sir ClawRoyal Road★★★ 2.5The concept of this story is very appealing. You have a man who is reincarnated, and gains a toolkit revolving around fighting evil in all its forms. Unique and interesting story, with a humorous system that acts like a human.
Sadly, thats where the good stuff ends.
The grammar isnt bad, but it is not anything to write home about. The style feels dry, and at times the description of locations feels lacking.
All of that I could ignore, however the characters put the nail in the coffin. The characters are super one dimensional. They lack personalities. The MC only has two facets, the first being his whole "Slaughter evil people like a psychopath" bit, and the second being his girlfriend.
The girlfriend happens to be a princess who he rescues, returns to her father, and then runs away into the cities underground with In two chapters!
If that was not enough, they then randomly fall in love within days, and start acting like they have been together for years!
So MC runs away with the kings daughter, and stays in the capital city. You would think that there would be soldiers everywhere, and the king making a massive effort to find his daughter, right?
WRONG. There are a couple mercs that find him. Yes, only a couple mercs are able to find the man who ran off with the kings daughter when the two are making absolutely no effort to hide!
The power scaling of the characters is also absolutely ridiculous. Within a few days, the MC goes from being a normal human to being able to take on an entire branch of a criminal organization in a fight and win. He gains more stats in a few days then an average adventurer gains in years! With the speed MC gains power, I would expect him to be nigh unstoppable by chap 60.
I would not suggest this book unless you are not picky and looking for a time sink.
