The Mimic and the Bard

A mimic, which is a create able to camouflage itself by becoming a regular object, is taken by a bard. This mimic, is a violin. She plans on eating the man, until he plays beautiful music on her. She begins to feel new and unknown emotions and is confused by the man. She decides then, she will continue to travel with him on his adventures. She finds soon she is forming feelings for him, but what happens if he finds out she is more than a simple instrument? Lies are poison to the soul, but she isn't the only one with a dark secret.
