The Metier Apocalypse [An Apocalyptic LitRPG Adventure][COMPLETED]
Community Rating
Description
Ronan hasn't felt the desire to do much with his life. Being trapped inside of a survival Bunker for the entire duration of his life might have had something to do with that. However, when the opportunity to return to the surface is present to him and his two friends, the man finds a fire he didn't know he had.
When they discover that the world has changed beyond their expectations, it is too late. Changed by the magic that now permeates the surface, they struggle to find their place in the world.
Instead of keeling over and giving up, the three friends lean on their strengths and stake their claim on the new Earth. Fighting beasts and elemental ghouls, the trio seek out others, hoping to return humanity to Earth.
They will either succeed and provide a haven for the other survivors or be forced to live strangled from opportunity and freedom.

- Davros333Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Really interesting take on post apocalyptic genre. Great writting, and a strong but not OP main character.
Has intense battles, crafting, subplots, betrayal, and much more! Binged up to this point in like 3 days and it was 100% worth it.
What happens when you influence an alien entity with video games? You get a system that helps you fight to reclaim a world you never got to see.
Could use a bit more focus on other characters as they feel a touch flat, but art of that comes with having an mc that gets absorbed into his work on occasion. - Fenris WolfRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Having followed Frank's published work in the past I am certainly bias. However, I was quickly hooked within the first few chapters.
Expectations from the blurb were average considering how most story's nowadays feel like they have similar plot lines. But the unique twists and turns (trying really hard not to spoil) Frank adds to his rendition makes Ronan feel alive.
I am psyched to follow this story and hope it keeps it's amazing momentum going forward.
*I'm watching you Author-San; don't mess it up* (pwease) - GreatBearRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Really good read so far. Thoroughly enjoying it. Has an interesting system and good world building. Good grammer and spelling, has a nice flow.
All of the characters have something unique and are able to meaningful contribute to the story. The characters each have their own specializations and so aren't left by the wayside to an OP main character, which is refreshing to see. - RodingesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have found this title accidently, but as I like the genre (thus may be a little bias) I got hooked up really fast.
The best strength of this story are the characters, they are distinct and natural, even side characters, with which many titles struggle.
When it comes to the story itself, the start is in my opinion too slow, nonetheless after the initial character and base building the momentum builds up and action goes ballistic.
Grammar is very good, just few typos here and there.
Style is something I think could still be improved, sometimes the scenes seem chaotic, especially some of the fights, but with how original and vibrant the setup is, it is still an awasome and absorbing read! - s44Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Here we get a mana apocalypse story from the second-generation perspective, after the (known) human survivors spent their time hidden in bunkers. Early days yet, but the three MCs are nicely sketched and the sense of discovery and low-level adventure as they explore the outside world makes for fun reading.
Yes, there is a litRPG system, though its development is actually part of the story itself.
