Description

I lived most of my life as a NEET. Avid prepper, i was living in a bunker, trying to run away from society when it all happened. The town i live in suddenly got transported, in time, space or across parallel universes, who knows. All i know is that the world i am currently in, is not the world i used to know. Everything is wild and hostile but i refuse to die. Like a cockroach, i shall adapt and survive.

It's not the first nor second story i'm reading from Mickr4, and althogh earlier works lacked in some aspects (especially ending), author obviously made progress in his style. Only thing i'm worrieng is that he won't make me suffer again because of the ending, story is nearly perfect so far.

This story is awesomel.  First you have an original plot that doesn't follow the two big archetypes on this site.  VR story or reincarnation story.  No.  This is a very orginal story with a well written and emotional thought out protaganist that puts a first person perspective to good use to show the reader fairly accuratly his
thoughts->emotions->behavior->consequences.  Its pretty awesome to see such stellar writing on this site and especially from the guy who wrote "Cheating Monster."  I loved "Cheating Monster" and read the hell out of it but this work kicks its predecessor out of the water.  Treat yo self.  Read this story.

I want to say that what Penguinsoldier said about the story only being six out of ten is a COMPLETE bullshit, this story deserves more than that. The story is really well written and I have actually learned a lot more facts in here than i would in a survival show, hahaha. You really developed the MC's character that anything that he does is reasonable. I like it and I want more.
You deserve 25 stars. Top notch  story and looking forward for more.

    (review up to ch 19)
really enjoying your story and unique world-setting you have created. Good fusion of elements from a post-apocalyptic setting and fantasy world. Also there is also a touch of mystery swinging, because as a reader you are wondering what the rules and background of this particular world are.
In the beginning the main character is a recluse and you are picturing that pretty well. However, you are doing a good job of letting him shine more and more. You do a good job of letting him find his humanity in a an inhuman environment.  Looking forward to letting him become more and more likable in the future.

This is an enjoyable story with great story-telling and nice grammar. For all new readers, give it a try for a few chapters and you might become intrigued as well where this journey goes

I really like this Mickr4 new work.
For those thinking that “Pos-apocaliptic worlds have already been cleared of any interesting content by other famous works, this is sure to be just a rearrangement of what has already been told” I would have to beg you to give this a chance. Up until now (Chapter 5), it has been an extremely refreshing take on the idea, and if you think about it, it ressembles much more the adventures of John Carter in a alien world than a The Walking Dead retake.
I was a reader of The Mightest Tadpole and I really liked it, but we all know that sometimes the characters felt a little too shallow. The dragonesses, especially, felt like they were just sexual objects ready for the use of the main character.
In this new novel, although it is still at the beggining, I sense that we will have characters with much more depth. The main character, that is the only one to appear up until now , is the source of this hope of mine. Mickr4 wrote him really well. He is not a genius person that never commits mistakes and thinks everything through before acting, but neither is he a dumb guy with overpowered strength that rellies only with luck.
He feels real. He is a coward and his reaction to dead people, red sky and giant insects in his ward is totally believable. He rationally wants to end the struggle (by suicide) but ultimatly ends up fighting for survival due to instinct, as it is proper of us, human beings. He commits mistakes along the way due to fear or anxiousness as we all do, and then he learns with those.
The psychological progression of the MC is becoming the main point of this story to me, contrary to what happened in Tadpole, where what I was seeking was only his power trip.
To me, everything seems to point towards this being a story even better than Tadpole, and I can’t help but hope that it gets as popular as Tadpole was.

yep, really good stuff right here. Did not feel like reading it in the beginning waiting for more chapters to come out, but then decided to check how good it was written and could not stop from there on. although I would not usually give all 5's for something one of the reviewers messed up on givind it five star on simple review but didn't put anything on advanced review making the overall average look worse than it was. so by doing this I hope it evens out a bit. But that is in no waay meaning that this story doesn't deserve a 5/5 it incredibly good, has good pacing and I can see a large number of chapters ahead should the author choose to make this a large series. anyway give it a try till ch.2 and see if you can even drop it from there.

I'm now officially an addict.... I havnt read many stories of this genre  but this one is already my favorite. I havnt enjoyed a story this much in a long time though maybe that's because everything I've read recently was just a little boring. So now review time ;o I'm bad at reviews but here's what I think.
Gramar - 10/10 - I think I saw some very minor mistakes such as typing liek instead of like. By that I mean accidentally misplacing a letter. So yeah as far as I'm concerned grammar is perfect. Unless author is bad with punctuation. I'm bad at that too so I wouldn't know anything about that >.>
Story - 6/10 - I'm not too sure how to rate story ;-; but right now there is no real story to speak of unless simply adapting to the world and trying to survive in a new and deadly envirement counts as one. It is interesting but yeah... Though, it's only up to chapter 4 right so who knows what will happen in the future. I still found the 'story' very entertaining but I expect more than just staying alive because of a presumed fear of death(character might have other reasons for living?) to drive the character at some point in time.
Character - 9/10 - I just gave 9 because I've only seen a single entity capable speech so far.  ;P I've had a look into his thoughts but I honestly just don't understand enough about the character or reviews in general to give proper feedback on this xD Though maybe mc's neet tendencies are his character...
Style - I'm not knowledgeable about writing styles, but I like the one your using. It enables readers to better understand what mc is going through. However(maybe because his name doesn't come up ever after first time?) Ive forgotten mc's name xD And then I thought about something you can maybe try adding to the mc's thoughts on how to survive. Animal instincts. He has watched a lot of survival documentaries or whatever and its safe to assume those have covered dangerous animals and potential dangers/warning to look out for or exploit. For e
