Description

In a zombie apocalypse, a young rebellious woman is infected with an alien tech. It changes her, gives her unfathomable insights into her own existence, and helps her navigate the living hell in her struggle to survive monsters of all kinds, some not even human.

What you will find:- A very slow burn with a slice of life.  So, the full apocalypse does not develop before Chapter 50.- Multiple jumpings in the first 10 chapters to the past to portray and direct the story correctly.- A present-day Earth, but with multi-planet and multiverse in the background.- Even though the MC is a female, there are a lot of different and important characters, some not even human.

Disclaimer:- There is a lot of gore and violence, and the story is intended for young adults and up.- English is not my first language- This is a work-in-progress series with ongoing editing.

I almost dropped this story when the writer suddenly, after four chapters in, decided to go back to something that happened a long time ago. It kind of got me upset since I wanted to read about zombies and how MC is going to deal with them.
But then, after reading another ten chapters, it all started to make sense to me. This is one of the stories that tries to explain how the apocalypse came about, not just throw you in and then expect you to deal with it.  A bit unexpected, but it is slowly emerging as something very interesting.
I also like that it's not just about the main MC.  I see how there can be a whole world-building going on here with a lot of different characters.  A few readers commented on it, so I know I'm not the only one.
I rate this high because I want to see where all of this goes.  Hopefully I will not need to downgrade it in the future.  But so far, I'm interested.

Being a big fan of a post-apocalyptic genre, I had no problem connecting with this story, and the nicest part was that it started with the first few lines of the first chapter.  Sure, for some it may seem as just another zombie story, but I love litrpg system in here.  And I think that gave it all some much-needed originality.
Style of the writing is nice and it's clear that this is not the author's first writing.
Story line might not be very unique, but there is a lot of mystery there.  And after first four chapters, the author presents us with the two unexpected chapters.  Now, I was rather certain I knew where the story was going, but I'm not so sure of it any more.
I graded character with 5 stars even tough it may be way too early for that mark.  It's just that 7 available chapters as of this writing might not be enough to know how developed they will become.
Grammar is obviously an issue with a lot of stories here, but that is expected, so I did not want to downgrade the story just because of that issue.
I wanted to review this story because I wanted to incentivize the author to continue writing and improving his or hers work.  I certainly plan to see where it will go.

I read so many zombie stories . so I appreciate when I run into one that is slightly different and refreshing.   Here it's not just about how the author uses 'the system'.  It's about trying to make sense of it.
Also, it seems that the author is building the world one stone at a time.  That might be long and require a lot of chapters, but I like it because even that is not done monotonously.
I also like the characters.  And there are a lot of characters here.  Some are very interesting and I hope that the author will concentrate on them in the future to tell their whole stories.  I certainly see a lot of possibilities for this story and am eagerly waiting to read another chapter.

After going through 14 chapters I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised.  I went from 'oh, no, another zombie', to 'just another chapter, please'.  Maybe because the story is not so much centered around zombies as it is about MC who is trying to survive one calamity after another, pretty much her whole life.
Style of the writing is good, and I found it refreshing.  It's not the most common way of narrating, but that just made it more appealing to me.
Grammar also was decent enough even though the story could tremendously benefit from additional proofreading.
Story score got my lowest rating since it's not as original as I'd like it to be, but then, in this genre I consider that a hard task to accomplish.  I think that I may even give it a better rating if in the future it manages to combine all the complex elements that it had presented and make sense of it all.  I mean, there are zombies, then all these different kinds of aliens, then humans who are not from Earth?  That's a lot to process, and I am eager to see how it will all look in the chapter 40 or 50.
I enjoyed all the characters who had been presented, and I think the story is setting up to be a very long one, so I am hoping that all the characters get develop further in the coming chapters.
This is said to be litRPG, but that is also not at the center of the story, and I often forgot that it was even there.  Great work and I hope that it will continue for many more chapter!

There will be one minor spoiler.
There's 4 chapters of post apocalypse followed by more than 100 chapters of flashback to waaay before, another flashback to not quite as far back, another that at least mentions the city the post apocalypse part took place in. The tone of each is vastly different from each other. And we've had 3 POV characters.. I think.. one of which is definitely dead now, and another maybe is? I do not know if I like this. There's no... continuity. Closest word I can find. We're introduced to 7 characters who seem ultra important, only for two them to be shuffled out of the story within a few chapters and the others not touched on afterwards. Another two who seem important enter, but they weren't present in the post apocalypse chapters so doubt they'll make it. It's all kinda disjointed. The flashbacks are a way to get all the prologue out of the way I guess. Not a good way considering how long they are, but A way. And there is a whole lot about the foreshadowing chapters when we meet back up with the main character before the big plot kicks off that I just do not like. The author seemed to have heard that giving the protagonist a disadvantaged background is a good way to get readers interested in them and then came up with as bad of a background as they could to quickly gloss over in telling us about without ever showing it to us, and it came out of left field. "Oh hey, the MC is told they have to do something, but all the sudden she gets a phone call which reveals her parents are really really bad people, and that'll add narrative tension since she has a choice of doing the things she needs to do or dealing with the fallout of her parents suddenly being bad people out of nowhere.". Then that's done and over with in 5-6 paragraphs to never be mentioned again.
The worst part. For all the plotting and pacing problems. It's not badly told. The author can write, they just didn't spend enough time on the structure to figure out how each piece should b
