Alright, the review is going to be split in multiple parts and uploaded over time (because I am juggling a few things at the moment lol) but here are my first impression of the first 3 chapters.
First Impressions: Firstly. HOLY SHIT. The art is great. I feel like if a book has good art, it's an automatic +2 on the rating for me. I'm kidding of course (no need to deduct 2 from the rating if you remove the pretty pictures), but it is the truth that the visuals are what stood out the most for me. If I may ask, did you draw these yourself or are these done by a friend? Because I noticed that there were no illustrations on chapter 1 - which would've been useful for first impressions) and none on chapter 3 either, which was just a bit dissapointing.
The Writing: Now, this is another strength of your novel. The writing is nice, comfy and easy to read which is great. Now it could be seen as a bit boring by some as it can be found in basically 99% of published works, but we're in the same boat you and I lol. There are very few grammatical errors I've noticed and they're mostly minor (such as using a period before continuing a quote).
Characters: It's a bit early to be evaluating the characters, but so far, they're great. The only thing I have to say about them is that IF 'Master' and 'Madam' are the real names of these characters, that'd be a bit strange, if not funny. Just a question, but is there a reason Takahiko has a distinctly eastern name? (If it's spoilers don't tell me though lol)
Plot: Now, this is one of the weaker elements for me personally. I'm the type of person who likes exciting things and adventures and what not but the first chapter of the book didn't really hook me in. I wasn't really interested in following the journey of some guy trying to be a merchant - and remember, his name is not mentioned once in the first chapter - and if I just came upon the book on a whim, I probably wouldn't have continued.
TLDR; GOD, THE ART IS GOOD, th

This story has some great art, adding another layer of immersion as the characters are actually being depicted. I am no artist, stickmen and 2D shapes are about the limits of my drawing ability, but even I can tell the art is of a high quality.
When it comes to judging the story itself I'd say that the story is kind of chill. This story doesn't subvert your initial expectations and provides a comfy story about a guy becoming a merchant - not that much drama.
TLDR: If you like cool art and just want to chill and read something then this is for you.
