Synopsis:

Kyle lived a quiet life.

An IT guy with a love for animals and not many close friends, his world was small but steady — until the day he died saving a child from an oncoming truck. He expected nothing after that. No heaven, no fanfare.

Instead, he wakes up in the middle of a magical ceremony, now a young man named Kalen in a world where every eighteen-year-old forms a bond with a beast and awakens a power tied to that connection.

At first, Kalen believes his only ability is to remember his past life. But when he begins telling Earth’s fairy tales and legends to the orphaned beast cubs at his uncle’s old sanctuary, something strange happens: the cubsdream the stories—and then begin tochange.

A duckling evolves into a swan of storm and grace after hearing “The Ugly Duckling.” A monkey he rescued years earlier grows into a hulking, protective force after hearing the tale of King Kong. And that’s only the beginning.

Now the reluctant caretaker of a ragtag sanctuary full of misfit beasts and emotionally tangled Tamers, Kalen tries to live quietly. But his gift—rooted in empathy, imagination, and the stories of a world long gone—may just change this one.

Even if he’s the last to realize it.

This is my first attempt to do something like this. Please give me constructive criticism if you have any.. I started this as I have seen a similar story but it was never continued or just never translated again and I lost the name of it. I also chose to do this as may beast tamer novels end up being the human fighting everyone so I wanted a slice of life version... There will be beast fights later in the story however. Rewrite is in progress to remove any copywrited characters. It will take from Mythology instead.
