Description
"Welcome to the Macroon Arcology!Ambrose Ryykier's vision to save humanity or at least a city of them. The dangers he strove to defend against? The failing planet, the societal collapse of the early 2020s, and finally the constant Antithesis incursions that caused millions to die to their alien hunger. So welcome to city that is a massive structure, no need for the real sun or stars. Only electricity is lighting our homes and we love it for it." -Brochure to the Macroon Arcology 2043Now that you've been welcomed, let me tell you about the real deal. A massive superstructure that is literally separating the rich from the poor by level and section in the massive sphere-like building. While I don't claim to know everything, this is my story where I find out the truth of the Macroon Arcology and what it means to be human in this new world. And no, I am not a trained psychologist and I amnotgetting paid for this.
A Stray Cat Strut Fanfiction- This is based upon the setting created by RavensDagger, it is not canon, but I AM doing my best to make it consistent. Thanks to RavensDagger for creating the setting and providing me access to some of the public reference material and all the rest of the fan community for their contributions and assistance.
If you haven't read the original story read it here:Stray Cat StrutIt shouldn't be required for this but I do recommend the snarky main character and world building that RavensDagger put in that made me try my hand at writing my first story.
I am not a professional author, this is a fun exercise in pulling the story out of my head and onto a digital page and if you wish to join this journey. I welcome you.Sincerely,BronzeMonarchyImage from hotpot.ai/art-generatorLooking for a replacement for cover art.

- FuzzybunnyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Damn. Loving this and wish it hadn't cut off. As fanfic for stray cat strut go, it's a little unusual with elements of Shadowrun's Matrix amongst other things. It doesn't seem to be following the meta plot Ravensdagger has crafted, but it's worth a read if you have time.
Word word word, need fifty words - MasterReeveRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Just read about Myte's choice of wardrobe. The 'reversal' was rather funny, too.
While I totally understand that this is a 'good spot for the story to conclude, I can't help but to want more.
Will there be more?
Again, no blame, no shade, if this is all there is to the story. Simply put, I was very much enjoying it and would very much like to see it continue.
Thank you for this much, regardless. It was a great read! - LuuuucOfLegendsRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0It's kind of hard to describe my exact feelings on the story, but I had a great time with it, albeit with qualms.
Engineer and his friend in the tablet (kept ambiguous here for spoiler reasons) are a very nice duo in doing their Samurai things without actually being a Samurai, which is a super unique subversion and the ways they get around not having any sort of points to spend really spices it up. The Macroon is a fun setting, and for the most part the dialogue is on point.
The reason I'm only giving four stars is a spoiler, so you have been warned.
The main thing that holds me back from giving a full five stars is Amadeus is kind of...too comically evil. They justify the behavior as them snapping after the loss of their partner, but the amount of vitriol which they refer to other Samurai they used to work with and how they plan to kill them takes me out of the story and into sheer melodrama, especially since I find it difficult to believe how Myte could have made such a titanic fumble in the first place.
