Description
Myra is a cop hell-bent on catching the city’s most notorious killer. Petyr is a journalist investigating a mass-disappearance. And Ana is a social worker haunted by strange happenings. And all of them are increasingly caught up in things they don’t understand.
How does a madman perform impossible escapes? What is it that lurks in the alleys, preying on the vulnerable? What is it that rumbles beneath the streets, shaking the ground? Which wicked hand guides all of this? And why does everything feel fundamentally WRONG?
As strange forces get ever bolder and the city teeters on the edge, these questions go from urgent to critical. Myra, Petyr and Ana battle for their lives, for the city itself, and their only hope is uncovering the truth. Or perhaps… remembering it.
Magic and monsters don’t exist. So why does it seem that they DO? Find out in this action mystery fantasy.

- Ellen TaylorRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0For fans of fantasy noir, I found your book! Honestly, this is a great one!
To start the review, I'll start with the easy one. Grammar is always an easy five stars from me. As long as nothing was so horrible that it pulled me out of the story, I give five stars. And as far as I could tell, the grammar was flawless.
The style was great. There were no time jumps or flashbacks from what I read, all was pretty linear. I never got confused or lost, and it was really well done.
The story was excellent. So, so, excellent. I always love a good mystery to unravel, and the fact that there were some strange, fantastical elements that shouldn't be there made it even better. The chase, the action, the disappearing, all of it was so great. The author does a great job of setting us in a fascinating world and slowly peeling back the layers. I love the added fantasy elements in an otherwise noir type setting. It works really well.
Characters, too, were excellent. Love the detectives and their banter. Love the way they are figuring out this world just like the reader. Honestly, well done, author. The whole atmosphere is really spectacular.
Overall, a great read! - UgarrsvenothRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is fantastic. The author has done an amazing job at building up the mystery while grounding the story in a realistic and depressing setting. The characters are all believable and realistic.
The author does a great job at dropping us right into the action, and using minor details in the background to create the world around the main characters, and show just how depressing it is.
Keep up the good work!
