Description

What would you do if your favorite video game became reality?

For Tom and his friends, this dream comes true when they wake up to find their world transformed by the rules of their favorite game: The Legend of Noralon.

However, instead of the immediate fall of civilization as the world turns into his favorite fantasy game, Tom is forced to deal with the mundane world and the world of Noralon collide as monsters and politics conspire to make his life more difficult. The reality of his situation forces him to act in ways he's not comfortable with. It's too bad that simple meta-gaming won't be enough for what is to come.

    1) Poor spelling and grammar drives me nuts. So far, in 17 chapters, I’ve only got about 20 edits, which on RR is pretty solid.
    2) Good characters. Plot is fine. The author notes at the bottom are not my favorite, but they’re harmless in the grand scheme of things.
    3) Any story that can pull off (poor choice of words) having a scrotum detached and repaired with humor is worth a shot.
I decided to start this because The Walrus King mentioned it. Dang It! Only 17 chapters! I normally want at least 100 but, oh well.
Also if anyone notices reviewed Ch. 16 and me saying 17 above, “Game Manual” counts as one extra.

The world gets merged with an MMO.  The MC and others who had played it get a headstart, but it's clear that won't last forever.  Enjoying the world, enjoying the plot.  Definitely needs another editing pass though; the spelling and grammar errors can be...bad.  Looking forward to seeing where it goes, and seeing certain characters get their comeuppance.

I got to beta-read this it’s a fun book and I’m happy to keep supporting the author
as for the book itself I liked the change of pace from the normal system apocalypse books where almost everyone dies
the character are diverse the setting familiar and the plot is intriguing I will recommend it to my friends

I really liked the story, I love that unlike other stories the protagonist faces the fact that a system collapse won't make all the previous power figures magically disappear and that to survive in this kind of apocalyptic world you can't just wander around aimlessly because someone has to make the potions, the equipment, the shelter, the provisions and everything else you might need, but, if you along with many others don't make the joint effort, no one will achieve anything.
I also love the idea that even if you reach the maximum level and have all the tricks of someone with the knowledge to reach the maximum possible power you will still need all the help you can get to face the monsters out there.
I like that the characters have varied personalities, that they grow in various ways throughout the stories, that they have varied opinions (some more correct than others) and that each one has a well-defined personality.
I also appreciate the lack of cliches. Clichés are not necessarily bad, but after reading so many stories, I appreciate that the story is original and the amount of cliches is controlled.
In conclusion, a story made with effort and attention.
PS: I think some of the spoilers on the character sheets need to be revised.

The characters aren't superhuman-nerver-fail, rather they are competent people that make mistakes but get out of them by putting in the effort required.
A breath fresh air compared to the average story here that is a super unlucky OP char that doesnt struggle at all or there's lip servfice paid to their struggles.
Excelent continuity and quality torought. Earlier i said the story needed better edditing and had some variability in quality, no longer true.

The premise of the story is a VRMMO game that suddenly appears in reality. The MCs have played this game for the past six years, and know how to best metagame it. They use their knowledge to help themselves and other people when the world undergoes a system apocalypse.
I really enjoyed reading this, and one of the coolest parts was how well the metagaming worked. The MCs feel really powerful. This power even feels (mostly) deserved, due to how it (mostly) comes from their knowledge on how to minmax. Despite how powerful they are, they do not feel OP, and still have difficult challenges for them to overcome.
Fair warning, the story has some editing issues. I think the author went back to fix most of it, but in some of the later chapters it is still noticable. I personally don't mind this, and it didn't hamper my enjoyment.
Furthermore, this doesn't really feel like a character driven story. Mostly the story focuses on minmaxing and kingdom building, though its more of a guild than a kingdom.

By terrible lapses in editing. Sometimes the text is so garbled it's difficult to understand what the author is trying to portrait. Sometimes a chapter is very well done but the inconsistentcy grates.   This is big standard game lit.  Video game becomes IRL fact.  Experienced gamers, once a fringe group become the most skilled and adapted to the new environment although their social norms remain immature cringe in most cases.
The author has just begun a look at how the unprepared might react to the new reality which looks like an interesting twist of plot but terrible editing cringe plus a dishonest suggestion that five stars are needed to follow the work the author posts at the start of every chapter reduce my admiration of their skills to 3 ✨  Edit to note. Author is addressing editing software concerns. My rating returns to 4.5 ✨

Author has a great idea for story, and his pacing is great…But:
There is a lot of spelling/grammatical errors.  Author blamed that on an editing program, (grammarly) but it’s still posted.
Author uses sexual references, using mutuilation of the privates as a repetitious theme when unnecessary, as well as focusing on sexual organ enhancement as a feature of the ‘system’
This can be a success, but requires a full rework and  consistent outline. Until then I’m out.
    good luck

Started off decent, but quickly decides to introduce a whole lot of psychopath teenagers with power creep completely at odds with the story seen through the main protagonists. Can't stay consistent with itself and the introduction so early of many unpleasant characters does not make for a good read.

As of writing this 1/3 of the chapters are intermission, and there are serious issues with how to follow text.
Its an interesting change to the standard system apocalypse from a game story. Quite often you have a "returner" to before an apoc who played the game about the apoc before the apoc and they take advantage of knowledge to go forth and conquer.
Here however, it's the original players going through the apoc for the first time and that's new.
That being said its an interesting concept and I'm excited to see where it goes.
