The Infamous Pirate Bones

Bones is a pirate who is barely adequate at his job. But all that is disrupted when his ship the Uncharted Waters is sent off course the moment he entered hyperspace. Someone blasted out his engines and when he woke, he was on an aquatic planet watching his home sink into its murky waters.

This is for the RoyalRoad Magazine with the story prompt 'Uncharted Waters' I haven't fully decided on the direction of the story, just writing to see where it goes. Right now its sort of a 'stranded on a deserted island' type story.

Also, I've decided this is a Genesis Protocol series (I have several sci fi stories, one is called Legion Core which may appear on here before long. Its a mech story)
