The main character, Marcus Dain, is an intriguing character because he falls into the morally grey category. There are a lot of relatable aspects about him, but at the same time, as the head of an intergalactic state, he is forced to make pragmatic and sometimes cruel decisions. He is supported by a cast of clones who act as his ministers and vary in terms of morality, offering plenty of diverse perspectives and worldviews. Yet all are loyal and dedicated to serving the best interests of Neptura. Watching them all together navigate intergalactic conflicts and ordeals has been tense and exhilarating, to say the least.
The political affairs that are discussed and debated in the conference room are just as engaging as the starship fights and other drama, which I won’t spoil here. The story moves at a fast pace and is sprinkled with beautiful, clear-cut descriptions as well as realistic back-and-forth dialogue. The prose is at a professional grade, comparable to a traditionally published novel. I have found each chapter so far to be immersive and a breeze to read through.
In terms of critique, I would say the sections involving him running through fact and statistic sheets for managing the Nepturan economy and army are a little tedious. But luckily, they are not too long. And seeing the progression, both in terms of numbers and real-world events, is pretty cool.
I highly recommend giving this story a read if you are a fan of video games and the sci-fi genre.

    Style:
Polished and confident prose. Arkenon balances dialogue, action, and exposition with a professional touch. The pacing is tight. Strategic decisions, political maneuvering, and fleet battles all move with clarity and purpose. Descriptions stay clean, immersive, and cinematic without ever drowning the reader in tech-jargon. Occasionally, the info-dumps on empire stats can be dry, but they’re brief and often relevant.
    Story:
This isn’t just another reincarnation gimmick. Marcus Dain’s rise from grifter to godlike ruler of a fractured clone empire hits hard. The stakes feel massive but earned. The political intrigue, moral ambiguity, and constant friction between ideology and pragmatism drive the tension. Plot arcs move fast. Maybe too fast at times, but it fits the tone of interstellar urgency. You feel the scale.
    Grammar:
Very strong. Grammar, formatting, and sentence flow are consistently smooth. Dialogue is sharp and natural. No distracting errors or structural issues through the first 20+ chapters. It reads like a professionally edited space opera.
    Character:
Marcus is a well-written antihero who is cunning, calculating, and deeply aware of the cost of power. He’s easy to root for even when he makes brutal calls. The clone ministers surrounding him each bring a distinct angle to governance, morality, and control. While we haven’t deeply explored many of them yet, the seeds are there. Expect their arcs to develop with the empire.
    Overall:
Neptura Eterna is a rare sci-fi LitRPG that blends political drama, military conquest, and stat-based empire-building into one cohesive, fast-moving experience. It’s like reading a Stellaris campaign with actual characters, real tension, and a protagonist who isn’t just leveling up. He’s rewriting history. There’s no handholding, no harem, no break for comic relief just power, strategy, and survival on a galactic scale.
If you enjoy grand strategy with a morally gray MC and no wasted scenes, this is a high-tier pick. You’ll

Worldbuilding is taken from stellaris with some default reincarnation on top.
The heavy inspiration is not mentioned in the description while not only is author using the UI of Stelaris as his "system" but almost all worldbuilding, even events and other stuff. I normally wouldn't say its a bad thing, but author doesn't acknowledge it and doesn't go the whole way to embrace the source material so star down for that. In my opinion its more of a fan fiction then original story.
No Bubbles so that's another star down.
