Set in an alternative, dystopian future

In 2017, two worlds, Earth and Lumina, seemingly merged. Entire countries were wiped off the face of the planet, tsunamis the size of mountains crashed into deserts, and monsters immune to gunfire rampaged through the survivors. This was known as the Great Merge. As millions were displaced across the new world, the kings from Lumina herded the survivors into enormous cities.

This story begins 40 years after the Great Merge, following a mercenary team in New London tasked with intel gathering on a recruiter for a supposed terrorist organisation. However, all is not what it seems. Secrets are being withheld and a certain team member has a complex history.

Join them as they butt heads with the Children of Discordia, a group hell-bent on creating chaos while unravelling a puzzling mystery.

This story is not for those who are faint-hearted. You have been warned. Sivios.

Story: 5/5 - Yes I know it is early days but the way I am able to put myself in the shoes of the unwanted and feel like I am living a secret double life is so realistic. The politics are coming I can feel it and the more I hear Elora's name the more I want to meet her - shaping up to be a grand adventure. The Winter section has also piqued my interest and I’ll be sticking around to discover what more enemies lay around the corner
Style: Dark and Descriptive. 2 words you want as a GrimDark Fantasy Novel being that the idea is to enable your audience to picture everything with as much details in their minds eye and the catchy details are written well,
Character: I already feel like I know each and everyone. Great Variety and each has huge depth so far and we are only just getting started. The MC – Roache as far as I can tell without giving any spoilers looks like he is in for a fun ride keeping his Family and Worl life balance intact especially when he is secretive of both. Looking forward to hearing a bit more back story and the way he has landed where he has.

Loving the story so far. I was a fan of the original series "the unwanted" by the same author and was devastated when it was dropped. Although its ending soon, I am glad we got to see roach and the crew one more time.
