- salhih462ucRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0First of all, I recommend it, the author said that he hopes to write the remaining books in a few months. I have finished the book and I am writing a partially spoiler-filled review, please note.
It definitely covers most of what I would want from 'Hivemind'. His powers and their uses, especially the realization of his mistakes. The story and narration are very nice.
In particular, it has a point that I think makes stories enjoyable, 'Things didn't go as planned,' which is a nice moment in most stories that forces characters to show other sides through improvisation. Just as the stupidest character ignores the puzzle, the weakest character endures the harshest conditions.
The storytelling and character dialogues are beautifully crafted. The world hasn't opened itself up much, but I'm sure it will.
But I also want him to focus on some technical points, I would like him to focus on the professional knowledge of the people he controls. For example, thanks to the doctor, the doctor should be able to access more information with his observation skills. As the code in its name suggests, I can foresee that it will lose control with an order from someone. At this point, I always love when characters have battles of will, such as Captain Marvel's mental battle with the Supreme Intelligence.
Hivemind and Naruto Shadow Clone Jutsu seem quite compatible. That's why it can be beneficial to have muscular or athletic characters do sports training at night. - BeverlyyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If you think about it this book is a political representation of Buller's attempt at taking over the world by controlling all the duck's through a hive mind.
It's a great start to a story backed by flawless writing and strong Duck vibes that can't be found anywhere else in the universe. I highly recommend this book to anyone that exists currently within our simulation. - Chaos JesterRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A wild mix of heroes and hiveminds, Hivemind Project spends the first few chapters setting a solid foundation for a story, promising a premise that can go in any direction.
Buller once again knocks it out of the park, giving us a story that keeps us wanting more, creating characters that are fun to follow, and showing us that he fully understands the meta that royal road is looking for.
Rate this one five out of five ducks already, sit back, and enjoy - D.PidgeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0There are a few hivemind stories, but not very many. There are fewer that are also LitRPGs. But most importantly, here's one that has both of those, while actually being just highly enjoyable.
With the first six chapters, or almost 15k words worth of content, I can say that I've been hooked in. The overall quality seems pretty good, and I can't wait until there'e more to read. - PuffinslayerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am quite enjoying this so far. It's still pretty young as a series, but shows great promise. The ability to juggle three separate viewpoints and voices is impressive. Well written. Honestly some of the best writing I've witnessed here in some time. Looking forward to seeing where it goes
- ThePhoenix94Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is still in the early stages, but it seems like an interesting idea to pursue. More than one POV, a sentient/sapient hivemind, heroes having problems, a vigilante on the loose, and some very interesting characters so far. Definitely liking the way this story is unfolding so far and will keep reading it!
- eric_riverRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Here’s an early review for the hivemind adventure
It might not be perfect, but it’s interesting for sure
The writing style provides a strong atmospheric effect
But rather than purple prose, it’s all very direct
Based on the first chapter I do want to read some more
Looking at the title, I have no clue what’s in store
It’s my first time with a ‘hivemind’ story to be fair
It’s a theme with potential as far as I’m aware
I think the strengths of this book will show up more down the line
The system is just booting up, but seems to work just fine
It might be a bit heavier than average gamelit prose
I’ll update this review once we see where the plot goes - 1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0The setting and premise are solidly conveyed within the first few chapters, which is an accomplishment in itself. This world is a bleak dystopia, caused in no small part by some humans developing extraordainary abilities, and the resulting power struggles.
Style : While generally fluid, I think that dialogue is used a bit too frequently, specifically at points where the conversations are unimportant to the plot. A better balance between dialogue and summary would go a long way.
Story : The plot is still developing, but the three main characters have been introduced, and all of them have vaguely defined goals that they are working towards. Pacing is moving along well, taking the time to flesh out both settings and characters.
Grammar : There are a few spelling errors here and there, and grammar is rough at times. Formatting is solid.
Character : This story is a mesh of alternating perspectives, weaving together stories in a strange world. I'm interested how these seemingly separated narratives might eventually converge, which seems increasingly likely.
Overall : I'm quite excited for more of this dark story. It's one of the more niche books I've found recently, but it is definately worth the read. - SoVerySleepyRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Style: I generally dont like POV changes because I feel they take away from the story but I feel like this story does them perfectly they are all interesting and they dont happen in the middle of a fight or tense scene the other chacerters dont feel just forced in there to placate readers who dont like selfish MC's
Grammar: I have not seen any imperfections in the grammar it seems perfect to me
Story: I love base building and just in genral when the MC has something to build up whether it's a base a kingdom or a company I allways find it satisfyingto see them grow
Character:I absolutely love MC's that are true neutral or neutral good and the hivemind is an amazing example of this at least if feels that way to me. The other charecter are almost as good but thta might just be my opinion
Overall I really enjoy thsi story its one of the things I look forward to the most every morning and i think there is a little bit of everthing for anyone to enjoy base building, superheros, villains, mystery, super weapons and to the people looking for a good story with a villain lead then this is the one for you - TealiciousTeaRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5It is alright. We are at the beginning stages of a larger tale. I could bemoan paragraph spacing all day but I shan't The world seems pretty cool and beak. The weary working souls are extended onto superpowered work. A late shift as a super is just as bad as any work. Our hivemind is slowly growing. Powerful but still yet vunerable. I think the only thing that could possibly sink this ship is power creep. Otherwise if not for the spacing it would be five stars.
