TLDR: it's an interesting story that has an interesting system and interesting characters with the main character surprising you in good ways.
The author has walked a challenging line with the main character. She's seemingly simplistic in a silly slightly insane way... But that's her protection mechanism. I'll find myself getting annoyed with how happy-go-lucky she is... but it's because it's a facade she presents to the world (and herself) and that backs me off of being annoyed. I find that fascinating and requires good writing and pacimgb to accomplish. Without getting into spoilers, she has real depth and the further you get into the story the more that's apparent. Figuring out the main character herself is as much of the story as figuring out the system and the mysteries around what's going on, and I've found myself really enjoying that.
Overall I've find the story to be rather well written. However, there are typos and some other relatively minor issues, that sadly, the author doesn't appear to want to fix. Dunno about the most recent postings - but at least I'm the first few dozen chapters readers making edit suggestions in the comments are seemingly ignored. This is very disappointing. Really hope they start incorporating feedback and revisit older chapters if so. If so, I'll try to revisit my review and bump the grammer stars up.

Hopefully I spelled everything correctly my typing hand has a mind of its own, not that anybody needed to know that, I didn't stop typing though and that is how the MC is! Cept y'know, more than a hand.

Well written story with mystery, magic, gangsters and goddesses. Excited, fun to read. Great characters. The MC is kick ass, but moral and smart. The villains are dangerous and brutal. Side kicks are awesome and there’s a cute guardian fairy. Not exactly sure where the story is going, and that’s a breath of fresh air as so many stories on RR are pretty predictable.

Quite a good story overall. I’m not particularly fond of just handing out five stars unless its something truly amazing. I will say the first person present progressive perspective is kind of off putting and strange to read for me but I don’t see why I can’t suffer through a change of pace.

The Main character is a bit nut as in extra voices in your head nuts. But it’s a fun nuts so far but I suspect that might grow as the character grows. So far the Gods mentioned are a bit Egyptian and most seam to enjoy causing chaos with the the system they are part way though introducing. The other characters seem promising and I am looking forward to see where this story goes.
