The Forgotten Gate Cycle

A portal between worlds reawakens after two millennia, releasing magic back into the world of Carousel. Glem, a retired soldier, is forced to take up the sword and life he had given up to protect his family. The Hasdingian army, led by the Ma-Ti warrior Hazk, begins its campaign to capture the kingdom of Laterius and the portal it protects.
