The Earth's Sin (Old)

—This story is essentially abandoned due to a lack of interest. This version will remain here as a proof of progress for my writing skills, but will not be receiving new chapters. Perhaps one day I'll return to this and finish it since I did have pretty much most major plot points up to the end already roughly planned, and I would like to have this as finished. But if not, or until then, this remains here untouched—

In a ruined world, humanity clings to survival within the crumbling walls of Panceia, the last city on Earth. Abandoned by the planet they once ruled, every remaining human has been gathered here... every one, except Airot.

When Airot, the final outsider, enters Panceia, he receives an unthinkable offer, a deal from Earth itself. Chosen as Earth's emissary, Airot is thrust into a deadly conflict, pitting him against his own kind.

Within the city’s fractured society, alliances form and betrayals loom as factions battle it out. Everyone claiming to fight for humanity’s salvation, but Airot must decide where his loyalties lie, and what it truly means to save humanity.
