Quick Synopsis: A boy reborn as a dragon, exploring the world to try and sate his curiosity, only to come to question EVERYTHING he considered fact. -------- Long Synopsis: This is the story of a young man who was reincarnated as a dragon with a near-insatiable curiosity. Initially sparked by questioning his own reincarnation, he quickly gets lost in the endless world of magic, using his deep understanding of advanced sciences to learn the laws and properties of a new type of energy known as mana. However, soon enough, the table would flip, and he would begin using that very same energy to expand his knowledge of science, to the point that he would begin questioning his own understanding of the world. Although not his original intention, with the combination of his intelligence, expanding curiosity, and the 'miracles' that occurred to allow for his existence, he quickly found himself climbing the mountain of strength as if it were a small hill before eventually climbing to a point where it seemed as if he himself was the peak itself. So im currently at chapter 311 and i have to say that this Story is awesome!! The Protagonist Vasilias hehaves exactly how i want a MC to behave! You read and slowly but surely want to know more and more about it.One of the Highlights are the fights. They feel very immersive and real (yes, there is blood). Gore helps to make it feel far better imo. It always feels like you´re really there and arent just "watching". Combining Fantasy with Science is a great Concept btw.While it does start out slowly, going through those early chapters is worth it! The Story is this kind, that gets better and better the more you read.Characters:The Characters are unique. Everyone has their own personality and you cant really dislike any of them. Of course there are exceptions tho xDStyle:There are other Stories that have the same concept (Combining Fantasy with Science), but this story did it better!Grammar:Great grammar, cant complain. In the earlier chapter were rarely some mistakes, but those got edited really fast. Now i cant find any grammar mistakes anymore. Also its easy to understand.All in all this is currently my fav story on Royalroad. I definitely recommend to check this story out. Dont let others influence your opinion too much and see for yourself :D- GW

Dragon Of Dreams is my favorite book on RR, I enjoy OP MCs and will read anything with a dragon protagonist, and this delivers. The world is filled out and not just paper walls, even the characters are fleshed out. this book is everything I like in a book. It's a must-read.

This novel and story is well thought out it may have had troubles before but this one with it currently rewritten chapters to make the strory more cohesiveness. the story is good and i will recommend it. but it may take one a bit to get throught it all because of how many chapters it has.Either way the story is telling a great story about a mc who may seem like typically arrogant MC, but this time with the power to back it up.But not everything is what it seems like and answers to questions we have may just end up giving us more questions then answers.i hope you who sees this one will like it too.

In terms of romance I'm glad its not a key cornerstone but should it need to happen please be a 1 woman novel and not a triangle for the content.

The Dragon of Dreams is a wonderful book with perfect characters. While the start is rough, the current rewrite fixes those rough issues. Aside from the beginning, this story is perfect with well-developed characters that just keep getting better and better as the story goes on. And with the upcoming comic, it will just keep getting better.

Without a doubt, this is the best novel on RR Nothing I have read on or off this site, with a few exceptions, can hold a candle to this novel. I binge-read the entire thing in only 4 or 5 days
Style, I don't really know what to put here, but the use of pov shifts and side character chapters is really well done. At no point did I see a pov shift or the chapter start with one of the side characters that hasn't even interacted with Vasilias for a while, and think, damn, another side character chapter.
The story is amazing. No matter how strong the MC becomes, there is room to grow that makes sense and flows smoothly, and every time something was revealed or hinted at, I was eagerly waiting to see how it turned out.
Characters, every character is written with incredible thought put into all of their actions. No character really ever does anything that makes zero sense for them. Although I wish Vasilias's dad had more of a role in the story, even when they start to build their relationship. It just doesn't feel right, but it doesn't matter enough for me to lower the score on the book.
Grammar, at maybe 4 points in the whole story, I had to re-read a sentence because it didn't make sense or had weird wording, and it was probably because I was reading at 1 in the morning, binge-reading this entire book up to chapter 453 in a few days.

This book is absolutely incredible and is, at the very least, one of if not the greatest books I have ever read.Nearly without exception the characters are awesome. There are so many great personalities amongst the cast that just make you think "damn that character is just so incredibly cool with such an awesome personality" such as Myles, the pirate leaders and Leander being a few examples. The interactions between the members of the MCs (Vasilias) family with each other are incredibly heart warming. There were many, many times where these interactions have just left me with a big smile on my face, and i'm not a terribly emotional person. The emotions they share during these moments never fail to pull me in and make me feel as though I am there, sharing in the experience and emotions along side them. .Vasilias is incredibly powerful and is not afraid in the slightest of using that power. Though he is not needlessly cruel, people who would mess with those close to him, or fall from grace witness his wrath, and damn does it feel good. The writing in general is top notch. Many times with these kinds of stories with insanely powerful MCs focus all their effort on the action, while the plot and writing suffer. That is not the case here. No matter how insanely powerful Vasilias becomes there are always looming threats not far off the horizon that can give him a challenge. The combination of magic, science and even divinity is just so well done. The author really knows his stuff on the science side of things too. There is real science in this book that most people dont even know IRL.The author puts a ton of work into the world building as well, and it shows. It is some of the best I have seen. The grammatic errors have never been serious as far as I have noticed, and, have never made me feel like the occasional mistakes detracted from the reading experience. As a result, IMO they are hardly worth even mentioning.
