The Dawn Of Delirium

Description

T'was a fine, summer day

A traveller wandering, now led astray

The crossbow bolt, now twenty-five,

Of the victims left, not alive

The Summer Killer, still as evasive

Attempts were made, but none persuasive

On his life, oh how they tried

Yet he'd always taken it in his stride.

Now thirty-seven, and still counting

All the victims of the Killer's hounding

All the attempts, none were valid

Such concludes The Summer Killer's ballad.
