Description
Born into House Vesely, the third most powerful family within the Kingdom of Ranislava, fourteen year old Lady Iskra had it all and more. She had command over a large number of servants that answered her every beck and call, whatever she wished for she got without issue and her friends served a purpose in inflating her ego and bolstered her social standing and she was poised to become the next queen once her betrothed, the Crown Prince, ascended the royal throne. Life for the young woman was good.
That, however, all came to a crashing end when she discovered the rumors surrounding her soon to be husband and a low ranking barons daughter to be true. In a blind rage, she had nearly murdered the girl but was quickly subdued and tried. In a strange twist of fate, she has been stripped of everything she once held dear and exiled into the Ranislava’s most dangerous and untamed duchy, Voldigrov. A land rich in volcanoes and home to roving armies of orcs, goblins, trolls and other foul and hideous creatures that prey upon those who are stupid enough to enter the cursed domain.
Now, alongside two of her former family’s most trusted servants as well as a levy of unwashed and untrained peasants, she must traverse into the mysterious realm and cling to a sliver of hope that the gods of fate don’t bring further ruination upon her.

- MarkellaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Iskra is a crazy crazy woman, and I am in love with her. I want her to slash my face too...
- ValdiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's far too early to tell if the novel will continue being as good as it currently is, but this manages to get my hopes up. Please continue writing because I think this one really has a lot of potential.
To all new readers, the chapters are fairly long. Don't be put off by the seldom releases. The payoff is worth it. - heiv123Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very good story, and I want to read more. BUT THE AUTHOR IS LEAVING IT.
- thorkellthetallRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Man I really like Pathfinder: Kingmaker. It's one of my favorite RPGs from recent memory. I also obsessively devour all forms of Otome related media I can find. Clearly, the next step on this journey is to combine these two completely unrelated things. At least, that's what this story looks like it may become. Except, what was Stolen is now Dark. And the main character is no longer my Aasimar paladin but is now a real villainess with all the baggage involved. Did christmas come early? It sure as hell seems like it. We will wait warmly for more to come.
- LiesmanRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5As someone who LOVES villain protagonists, I can't help but feel charmed by this story.
The premise is promising and the idea of an otome villainess actually facing punishment for her crimes (which, if I got it right, involved slashing he heroine's face, which is pretty metal) instead of just being given a slap on the wrist and then becoming a better person out of nowhere is pretty original and the fact that she was exiled to this setting's Mordor makes it even better. The protagonist isn't exactly the most charming of protagonists right now, but it feels like she has a lot of room to grow and improve (or fail spectacularly, I'm fine with both) and I'm eager to see how she will develop into the potential Dark Lord (Lady?) of this setting.
I might be able to say more once more chapters are released so for now, you can take his rating as a representation of my high hopes on this story.
