A detailed retelling of a tale of Russian yore, if that suits your taste then this fiction is for you!
This retelling of the stone flower shifts to being heavy on the romance and light on the fairy tale. Both parts are significant but the original is a flash fiction sized fairy tale. Now we have a novella sized romance. It was a bit long for my tastes but that is a personal opinion.
I recommend, if you plan to publish more in the future on RR, to put up a chapter every day (or three times a day for three days), as opposed to all at once. This will increase your time on the latest updates page. More views!
    Style -
Plenty of rich, detailed descriptions, I generally like this but it does slow the pace down. It is fun to write, but it is important to make sure enough happens in a chapter, with a hook for more in the next to make the reader click that next chapter. Anyway very stylish. Five stars.
    Story -
Leans a lot into YA romance I think? I liked the fantasy elements the most and there was more emphasis on the romance than I expected but it was all well done. So yeah high rating.
Neat details on Russian culture though I do not know how accurate they are.
    Grammar is fine.
Complex character relations are a primary source of the tension and conflict along with certain fantasy elements that push the plot forward. Poly/thrupples add a similar drama and jealousy as of love triangles. It is those relations and romantic drama that are the main part of this retelling and the dynamics are well done. Relatable and understandable.
Katya's body shape breaks the mould of stereotypical female fairy tale protagonists imagined in the 20th century. It is a more accurate reflection of having different bodies and it is valid that she is seen as desirable (but by some).
