Description

Although the intentions of Project Zenith were good natured, to reintroduce dead species back to the galaxy, the original design did not account for a species nearly as cruel and underdeveloped as humans on Earth.

My own way of thinking about and understanding a Hive Mind, what it would be like for the people involved.

Not just a trashy 90's sci-fi villain with no real goal or motive past expanding, but an in-depth look at what I believe would happen if several human minds were able to trade information and feelings instantly over vast distances.

Starts off slow, but picks up later on, and there is a major point of view change as the MC's group grows.

Schedule will be one chapter a day until I catch up, then it will drop down to hopefully a few a week.

Long time reader but this is my first uploaded piece, I appreciate any spelling or grammar mistakes that you notice.

I understand what the author is going for:
An alien fungus is capable of connecting the minds of people making them understand each other and create peace and happiness between all parties. But when humanity is so cruel against itself, will this utopia really be what it promises to be, or will human nature twist this happy ending.
Even if the "bad" people will be exposed to society, if they are restrained then the utopia isn't reached anyway.
The simple answer, in my opinion, is going to be the second, as many of us do things even if we empathically feel bad for the others. The part I'm looking forward to is how the author will write about the collapse of society as people become aware about the true meaning behind good and bad words and deal with the comprehension that strangers are everchanging, just like themselves, and can't be judged so easily or dismissed when you'll never meet again.
