I didn’t want to tank the story’s rating with a bad review score, but I thought the author might appreciate some feedback.
The premise of this story is excellent and I would love to read more, but the writing is both really good and remarkably inconsistent. There are a lot of tense issues and perhaps some with formatting as well. For example, what looks like a simple tense issue might actually be the character’s personal thoughts (and thus written in the present tense) that would do better being italicised to indicate that they aren’t regular text.
Sadly, as much as I love the premise - and as good as the writing otherwise is - these little but often mistakes and inconsistencies are dragging me away from immersing myself in the narrative, and I won’t be reading further.
If the author does ever go back over their work and either edit it themselves or enlist the help of an editor I would be very happy to give the work another read since it really is a fascinating premise, but for now it’s a little too unpolished for my tastes.

The Class Roulette Chronicles by SlowMoose introduces readers to a refreshing take on the class-based fantasy genre. Elara, the protagonist, stands out not by brute strength or heroics, but by her rare and unpredictable ability to switch classes at will. This mechanic opens the door to clever, strategic moments where adaptability becomes her greatest weapon.
The world itself feels reminiscent of RPG systems, with classes dictating one’s role and purpose in society. Yet Elara’s defiance of this rigid structure adds an engaging twist, allowing readers to explore a variety of abilities, challenges, and strategies through her eyes. The story’s pacing reflects her journey of growth—each class she takes on comes with its own set of strengths, weaknesses, and lessons to master.
While SlowMoose acknowledges their writing experience is still developing, the creativity and enthusiasm for the story shine through. There’s plenty of potential here, especially with Elara’s class-switching ability offering endless possibilities for character growth and dynamic encounters. Readers who enjoy system-driven fantasy and underdog protagonists carving their own path will find this a promising and enjoyable read.
Constructive feedback is welcomed by the author, making The Class Roulette Chronicles not just a story, but a collaborative journey to something even greater. If you’re ready to roll the dice alongside Elara, give this tale a chance!

It is a very clear story, it has achievable goals for the MC and a well thought out world and story line. It has a solid unchanging magic system and a cool twist to the classic OP tropes.
I loved the genuine and straightforward dragon, it makes sense for a dragon who has lived for millennia to not care that much about just another human.

This is basically a blind isekai. Our heroine wakes up in a strange place with no knowledge of where she is or how she got there. She eventually gets some answers, but it takes a long time to get there, and then she loses the companion she gained along the way. In the middle of all this  she does some cool adventuring things. She also makes a friend.
Said friend helps train her up, and then abruptly leaves. From that point she suddenly becomes timid and doesn't do anything but let life drag her along.
This story is very interesting, but has some serious pacing issues. Also, I would probably recommend dumping the entire second arc and starting over. It seems that the author agrees, as it appears it is approaching it's second Hiatus. This is, sadly, the fate of many interesting stories on RR, and it's making me wary of reading any story with less then 150 chapters.
