The Chicago Devil

Deacon Crawford, a young Chicago cab driver from the tough and tumble South Side, has run into a streak of bad luck recently. But his luck is about to change with a chance encounter with two fares that change his life and send him spinning fists first into a dangerous adventure filled with intrigue and violent criminals. He finds himself having to help a rich girl that he can barely get along with while learning to cope with and control a mysterious and fantastic change overcoming him. Can he overcome his criminal past and the neighborhood to use this new power for good? Or will he spiral out of control?
