What makes a terrifying villain?

Is it ruthlessness? Is it how powerful they are and how many buildings they can down in one blow? Is it how hard they are to kill, contain, or get rid of in any manner? Is it their knowledge of a hero’s true identity in a world where secrets must be kept? Or is it perhaps how they seem to be perfect in all their actions, defeating the hero at every step of the way throughout to the last one, only to humiliate them one last time before declaring themselves the winner in the grand scheme of things?

Isabella Blair is perfect. She knows all your moves before you even make them. All your ambushes are faced with traps and she dodges all your blows like it’s child’s play. Catching her is impossible because she’s always ten steps ahead of you. She says she calculated everything, but she messes up in every fight. She loses far more than she wins, sometimes a hundred times for just one small victory.

Yet, she is perfect. How is that possible, you may ask.

That’s because she has the uncanny ability to return to the past whenever she makes a mistake. All that’s left in the end can only be what’s perfect if all the realities in which you’ve lost are gone, after all. And that makes for one hell of a terrifying profile.

If you haven't seen super crooks then this novel is awesome. If you have its even better. Mc has constant pressure so far its looking Great . I love it 😀. I will definitely update this later if it goes 20 chapters. Lots of potential here, looking forward to the future (cringe to fill word req.)

Firstly, let me say that I love superhero stories, and I found this story on Tienswitch's superhero stories forum. With that said, I am liking what I'm reading. The author is adept at making me laugh, a lot, especially at the deviousness of Isabella Blair. The fact that she's a math teacher and that her power is only timelooping makes it all them more endearing, because of a course a math teacher is a villain! With all that said, let me go to the main points.
Style: The author is adept at weaving Isabella's voice throughout the narrative, making me, the reader, understand what she feeling in certain moments. Added that the author is direct in their story telling with their use of simpleness, and I think it's well done and I can understand what is happening throughout the story. My only gripe is that this story it's still in it's infancy, so it has room for improvement.
Grammar: I personally couldn't see any glaring grammar mistakes, and the story flows well from parragraph to parragraph.
Story: This is wat I consider the author's strong point along with the main protagonist. The way the author uses Isabella's deviousness to solve the time loop makes me question how she will prevail in the story and what her possible end could be. The use of political corruption as the origin of Isabella's motivations (except for her more psycopathic traits, but I'll get to that in the next section) is pretty interesting. Still, I didn't give it a full 5 stars, because again, the story is in it's infancy. Only the author of the story knows how they will develop the plot. Still I have high hopes, as with just five chapters, the author has intrigued me into reading more.
Character: The other strength of the author, or at least when it comes to Isabella. As I mentioned in the style section, Isabella has a very ineresting voice to follow. The main reason as to why is because of her deviousness, and I love me some devoiuss characters that can advantage of their situation. Still, as much a

I rather enjoyed this but sadly the calculations are not favorable for this being continued.
The best part of this series is the MC. And so therefore, most of the entertainment come from the main character just doing MC things but what disappoints me the most is that she’s critically under developed besides the superficial interesting traits of her being "evil" and her time loop ability there really isn’t much to her and I don’t really believe she could be a person what I mean by that is she already very competent and seemed perfectly adjusted to become a crime Lord. and is assume to be the end goal. also the main character feel somewhat inconsistent in her behavior.
There are only two series I can think that are similar number 1 re zero and number 2 handJumper
And both of the main characters of those series have some flaws/limitations of their time loop powers. and or character flaws and well our main character of this series has no "real" character flaws as previously stated she is perfectly competent practically built to do what she sitting out to do. And her ability works perfectly for her with no real drawbacks
Everything else well there isn’t much to talk about everything besides the main character is really average/uninteresting and the world is just our world with super powers so boring
Now some may say I’m being harsh on a five chapter story and I am. But I don’t think the author is going to continue this series, so I am writing this on the basis that this isn’t continuing and this is all we are going to get.
I do want to say I did enjoy reading this in spite of the things I’ve written but I was just left feeling a lot of untapped potential.
I do want to say that I am enjoyer of evil protagonist but there are only two that I’m aware of that are actually well written so I was interested to see if this MC would be one to add to the list Sadly she was not.
