- jmc5003Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Another wild ride from Eli Freysson! This person has become one of my favorite authors. I can't believe his stories are free, they're just so well written! Watch the bad guys behind the scenes, while they try to thwart the hero. It's hilarious! I haven't seen anything else written which both shows the villain as the main character and where the villain's goals are actuality unsuccessful. Eli does a fantastic job of presenting the story from a frustrated villain's point of view. Great, fun read that you won't wanna put down!
- Orion DuskRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0If you've ever wondered what it would be like for some criminal grunts to make things personal with a professional, then this is a story for you. This short novel/novella has a brisk pace and plenty of action. But it's light. It's very light on the sci-fi and comedy, and on any worldbuilding in general. I think it is set in the same universe as Flights of the Addax, but the universe isn't developed enough to make a conclusion. It's a fine crime novel (from the crook's perspective) but I would have liked a bit more.
