Description
Earth fell centuries ago.
Invaders arrived, elves and demons bringing magic, marvels and monsters,
The world and physics laws changed, forcing humanity to start again. But the invaders gave them no respite, and crushed them before they could accumulate any strength.
Now, only isolated settlements remain hidden across the world. And a single human kingdom scrapes by, surviving by paying tribute to the elves.
Not anymore.
Before the apocalypse, Johan Dantes gambled his life on the power to be reborn, and succeeded. Even if he became a demon, he still calls himself a human. And has a mission.
To lead the survivors, to crush the elves and fight the demons.
The last survivor of the old humanity has returned.

This is a "card crafting" series, not a "card collecting" series.
The cards are used as a power system akin to cultivation and soulcrafting, and there are no cards being dropped by enemies.
Every card must be crafted by the user, as they would construct a spell model.
The card system is modeled like an action rpg, rather than a tabletop card game.
There are no turns.
Summoned creatures will show up much later on.
There are synergies and combinations, but the MC must start from the bottom.
The MC is a spell blade, but it will involve actual swordplay and “sword magic.”

- Titania136Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story is set in the underworld where the MC has spawned after previously being an extremely powerful person. The setting is hell with vast plains of dead trees filled with ravenous monsters with pockets of civilization sprinkled in. The main part that will attract you however is the well-thought-out system of cardbuilding. Yes Cardbuilding not deckbuilding, you don't find or draw your cards you make them, and then use them in interesting ways. The cards at this stage are small and simple and the name of the game is strategy and combination. For example you could combine a 'Dash' and 'Stab' card to gain a burst of speed that enhances your stab, and if you managed to do that right after getting out of range for a blow you could stab your opponent through the skull while they are overextended using both the dash and stab. And the MC is appropriate for the hellish setting, and knowledge based system, being an intelligent and cold person who clearly knows a lot about the system from his previous experience before being thrown into hell itself. But a particularly good part of the fiction that isn't in the categories is the very good nights depicted, there's a sense of flow, push, pull, and a spirit of strategy enhanced by the intelligent MC. Either way it's really satisfying to read. But let's get to the specifics of the ratings.
For Style I give it a 5/5 for the aforementioned unique system that pairs well with the MC, and the quite good subtle flourishes embedded in the text. The setting is quite good too with the world being a system apocolpse in which the humans failed but they haven't died no they still have hope of defeating the demon king and living unafraid in their own homes.
For Story I give it a 5, this is due to having an extremely intriguing hook in it's blurb and my hope to see that beautiful idea seen through. The idea is essentially he's fallen into hell essentially to get a power boost in order to defeat the demon king.
Grammar is a 5/5 because well t
