The AI Overlord is a VTuber (Beta 1.0)

Description

It's 2028. Half the world is ruled by rogue AIs, and the other half is just business as usual. Living in a failing economy and being possessed by a nihilistic worldview does not stop Meika from pursuing AI VTubing—and accidentally creating a fully conscious AI. Mane-chan, born with all the knowledge of humanity in her head, has a singular and paramount directive: to dedicate herself to VTubing. World domination ensues—after all, what's better for a VTuber than to have the world as her captive audience?

Directly inspired by the existence of Neuro-sama, arealAI VTuber, and set in the closing years of these 2020's, "The AI Overlord is a VTuber" is a fun what-if of the path exponentially-progressing AI technology might take. As a higher-up of OpenAI once said on a Lex Friedman interview, "AGI is going to be made by some guy in a basement [...]."

What to expect:

• Decent amount of psychological writing• Tech escalation, soft sci-fi• Warning tags: "Gore" because of a few SCP-esque scenes, "Traumatising Content" due to non-human morals• Chapters 1 to 5 are a self-contained short story skipping a lot of things• Chapters 6+ are more web novel-esque pacing

This starts adorable, segways into some tactical marine shit, sideloads into an anime trope, then genre shifts between shipgirls and matrix.
With just the right amounts of strange AI minds and cute.
    And all without getting grim-dark.
It's a wild ride and completely not the kinds of stuff the average RR reader is into.

I have enjoyed the first chapter, I think this deserves a better review, so far it's been good and I think this story has potential, if nothing else it's well written with an introspective protagonist. Doing that is difficult and deserves some merit. I'm looking forward to more and would like the author to know that being discouraged is ok and to remember that I have enjoyed this story, so be happy or something idk, I'm not good with motivational speaches.
