The Accidental Archmage

Alaric was a wizard's apprentice of mediocre ability. He was used to the life and comfort of an academic working with theories, not practical applications.After a devastating curse on a routine research mission leaves him aged and wizened beyond all recognition, Alaric must now make his way in the more ruggedly pragmatic world of Adventurers as he seeks to reverse his condition. Will he succeed? Or is he already doomed? Can he make a new life for himself with what time he has left? Or will he change his fate and accidentally become a great wizard of his own right?

Update goal of one chapter per week on Sundays. (Clearly I'm not great at said goal, but I am still regularly working on updates...lol)
