Description
CORRUPTED:
Lucas, codename Helix, is the combat techno-medic of Mobile Assault and Sabotage Squad Demon. It was their task to gather suitable test subjects for Project Ascension. Located at the remote Station 37-H, it is one of the Holly Terran Empire’s most carefully guarded secrets. A task only the Blessed Saint of Hell’s Demons can accomplish.
Having secured the mining complex, Lucas finally has a moment to catch his breath. But as much as he would like to deal with the aftermath of the fight with Neverok, he has to focus on more pressing matters. The twisted shadow of Project Ascension lingers in every corner while the AI Zeti tries to recover what is supposed to remain buried. To make matters worse, the pirates known as the Void Spawned have set their eyes on Last Hope.
However, Lucas is a Demon. It isn’t in his nature to give up. His first priority is to cleanse Station 37-H from all who threaten it. His second one is to deal with Zeti and its mad plans for Project Ascension. His third priority is to stay alive if he is to uncover who betrayed his comrades. Such a sin cannot be left unpunished. And sins, Demons know very well. Lucas will have his vengeance no matter what, even if it means he becomes corrupted.
This is a complete rewrite of the storyLegacy of Terra: Forgotten. Although it follows a similar overall plotline, there are significant changes to the original story. Chapters are going to be over 5k words long (with a few rare exceptions). Updates will be on Saturday.
FORGOTTEN:
Lucas, codename Helix, is the combat techno-medic of Mobile Assault and Sabotage Squad Demon. It was their task to gather suitable test subjects for Project Ascension. Located at the remote Station 37-H, it is one of the Holly Terran Empire’s most carefully guarded secrets. A task only the Blessed Saint of Hell’s Demons can accomplish.
All Lucas is certain of is that something went terribly wrong in what was going to be his and his squad mates’ last stand. He was prepared to meet them on the other side. Instead, he finds himself in a familiar place surrounded by faces he has never seen before. His last memory separated by centuries from the present.
However, Lucas is a Demon. It isn’t in his nature to be on the defensive. His first priority is to secure Station 37-H and ensure the secrets of Project Ascension remain buried. His second one is to stay alive. His third priority is to figure out what has happened to his comrades because MASS Demon and his entire world have become nothing but spectres in the annals of history. He has become forgotten.

- MeltdownRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Had a lot of fun binging through all the chapters, and, if the author manages to keep up with the frankly incredibly quality of writing he put out here, this story is undoubtly going to hit my top 5 whenever it finishes.
To anyone still on the fence, if you like a story with rich history (I think the author did a stellar job with the worldbuilding), mystery, great pacing, and action, this is a must read imo, and you should at least give it a try by reading the first few chapters.
Im keeping the review basic for now, and I hope to revisit and edit it once there are more chapters (and once I properly read through all the existing ones; binging does not help with memory), I just wanted this novel to get more attention. - TelclivoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If you're concerned about investing your time into this story, don't worry.
This is 100% worth the investment.
The story is well fleshed out and everyone feels real, I also don't remember seeing any spelling or grammatical mistakes.
All the characters are relatable in their own way which gets you invested into them.
I would highly reccommend this story to anyone looking for a good story.
This story is dark, however there are moments of levity which help to balance out the story as an overall. - Prithvi ChandrsekarRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5i was searching for warhammer stories when i stumbled upon this gem.
The story take place on a space station here the MC has been in cryo-sleep for some time and wakes up to find the world changed and his empire gone.
What follows is an action packed story which is told from multiple POV’s. - RedPineRoyal Road★★ 2.0This isnt meant to be a "this is bad" review, but a "warning: not for everyone" review.
Some stories with the grimdark/violence/etc tags have pg-13 grade violence. Sad stuff happens, but its usually balanced out with pacing, keeping some events off screen, catharsis, hope, sacrifice for a geater cause, etc.
This story has R grade violence. Expect to be introduced to an entire caste of flawed but relateable characters, who are all dead due to contrived misunderstandings and dystopian ideological conflicts by the end of chapter in which they are introduced. This happens multiple chapters in a row.
If you are a fan of warhammer 40k, youll love this story. The author is very good at world and character building. If you arent a fan of grimdark, youll regret reading when the characters you get attached too are killed.
