- yy8erigRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Character makes a bit more sense and the world is more reasonable. Many things apply from old version aswell, such as interesting mc and good worldbuilding. A minor issue I’ve seen is that hide levels seem to be really good, but most likely a counter just hasn’t been introduced yet. The rewritten version is truly better than the old version.
- Curious DudeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The author has created one of the best pieces of fiction I have ever read in my life, better then most published novels.
The characters are fleshed out, the magic has set and clearly defined unbreakable rules (even if different than what the empire believes, the story has cool and explained fractal based math (which is important), the plot is clear and not wandering, the author corrects themselves when mistakes are pointed out in the comments, and the art they include is awesome! - Toby LechtenbergerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's a nice story so far.
The characters have spunk.
The ussr Russian stuff kinda goes off on a their own stories so it's like I'm learning something new. Also covid was first made by the Russians? Thought it was Chinese.
There's the prebirth arc which is kinda confusing all together. The birth arc which feels like a nice leeway to the childhood arc which is where the characters actually have personality.
The tree thing is confusing. - Wds444Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Definite recommend!
The magic system is one of the best on RR and the MC as a Soviet scientist works great.
Historical realism and beautiful artworks providing nice immersion.

I use the term "nerdy" in the best sense: intelligent and jam-packed of knowledge and references. I love the characters and the relation that blossoms between the two protagonists Delta and Dante.
I am just fascinated with the mathematical mechanics of the magic system in this story. I appreciate all the historical references, as I love a good bit of history. It's a historical fiction seamlessly interwoven with an amazing RPG-style magic system.
I'm always waiting for the next chapter! Keep up the good work, Mr. Alexius! - hankRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0You know how every isekai has the protagonist comparing everything to home which is very much like yours? None seem to long for technology of 2040, or anything before WWII. this one breaks that mold, the protagonist remembers and constantly compares to his past life, but it was a Soviet past and thus very alien to western readers who only vaguely are aware of a whole different history. As such it is a breath of fresh air.
The plot and setting is great and intersting, but to be honest i'm turing pages looking for more because of the history lesson I never got in school. - maxakaphoenixRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I mean I like this story a lot. I didn't read it before it got rewritten but I find very interesting nonetheless. The magic as far as I have i seen is quite original and solid and yeah what can I say more than that I like this story and I find the universe very interesting
- strobedthoughtsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Another great piece of work from Alexius! Love having all the stories to follow and see how they connect. Happy to read another extension of the greater story and i highly recommend going through this and all the other stories. Its all very clever and they keep the tension up and keep you invested as you go.
- Harbinger243Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0The rewrite has cleared up many uncertainties and the story already flows better and makes more sense. Vitaly thanks so much for writing this. Anyone on the fence about reading this, I recommend it to you with the greatest vehemence, as this story is one of my all time favorites on Royal Road.
- Jeremy001Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am an avid consumer of fantasy media.
Technomagica is THE most enthralling fantasy in terms of its system of magic and the concepts described relating to magic and the soul. I just binge read all the current chapters in one sitting on a weekend, and I do not regret it one bit. I will be keeping a close eye for updates from here on out!
My compliments to the chef!
