Description
The Gods slumber, the Immortals have vanished.
The Immortal Emperor of five generations remains uncrowned in the three worlds.
Reborn into this magical world of cultivation, Jian Tian ‘Magnolia’ awakens as an ignorant youth with fragmented memories of the body he now inhabits — a man of low status, nothing more than a caretaker of spiritual plants. But his predecessor left behind more than a shabby hut and dry soil: a bag of grudges, and enemies determined to see him humiliated or dead.
In this world where power alone defines worth, and where cultivators can drain seas, move mountains, and split the very sky, Jian Tian seems hopelessly outmatched… until he discovers his golden finger: a mysterious proficiency panel.
With it, he gains the tools to climb from the lowest rung to the peak of past, present, and future. His road will be long, his battles many — but with a sword in hand and fire in his heart, he will carve a new legend into the three worlds.
Note: He will stay weak for a while but this is very much a Weak-to-Strong story.
What to expect: SLOW pace.A fun basic xianxia.Poor talent/Five Elements Spirit Root.Poor to Rich. Face Slapping. Skill Development: farming, alchemy, talismans, arrays. Data panel cheat (Soft Litrpg). Harem.

- DeruniRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As mentioned above, it's slow at the beginning but it's worth it. The only reason it's slow is because of the background of the MC. He's also really really cowardly at the beginning that it kinda doesn't make sense... Even if he was a modern man. But that's the thing.. he didn't act like a man at all in the beginning. After that's all over at around chapter 20 things start the pick up properly. It's worth the read and the world building is good. Characters too (tho I feel a lot of people are way too... Evil? Greedy?)
Give it a go - Black BuddhaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Came here from an ad with eastern vs western xianxias. I was not disappointed. There are a few eastern style xianxias on the site doing well, but most others have been westernized and only use the label. They don't have the umph, I'm used to for the trash food and great eastern xianxia and wuxia. Most just have the tag and maybe a few stylized names with nothing to show for it. Too many authors are trying to fix every trope or subvert them instead of writing a good story.
Style: It takes its time to build up the pacing, which is good. The author clearly is trying to veer on the more fleshed out side of eastern xianxias like RI, ISSTH etc. You can see the influence of translated novels in the writing as well. Though it's a mix. There's the third person omniscient and limited, switched around but it doesn't do so in a choppy way.
Grammar: decent, a few issues here and there but nothing major.
Story: Classic weak to strong, the only thing is the reincarnation part drags a bit to me. It's probably the for new readers unfamiliar with the genre and tropes so I can't complain. This looks like it will follow the classic Qi Condensation to Foundation Establishment to Golden Core to Nascent Soul progression but I'm curious as to the author's spin on it. And what's after Nascent Soul.
Character: The mc is quite fleshed out, and the side characters are slowly showing their colors. Sometimes he is a bit annoying, The mc, but considering he is a reincarnated person, it's to be expected I guess. Most people can't just instantly adjust to a world of magic.
I skimmed a few chapter titles on Patreon and it definitely looks like things are about to get interesting. I'm eager for more! Definitely recommend. - BlessThySoulRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I’ve always loved these kinds of stories, and I’m also very glad that I found this one today. It has a very interesting concept behind it, and I am definitely looking forward to reading future chapters!
I’ve read many cultivation novels in the past, and I will say that I am enjoying what I have read so far. - WildWolf24Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0While the mc has great luck, it's not always pushing his cultivation to the next level with no effort. That the mc stays weak and actually struggles I think makes this story great! Hoping the author keeps this going. Can't wait for the next book or chapters
Many thanks. Come back soon! Please..... - Wo7fRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I am very pleased with this xianxia litrpg. As cultivation novels go I was reading it no matter but it definitely surprised me. The usual tropes were also used really well with a few unexpected bits and pieces. A true extreme weakling transmigrator doing his best to figure out how in the 9 hells he is going to get stronger and actually survive.
Needs polish and review some words and themes are not entirely xianxia but it’s a great read even so. Looking forward to seeing more - RennyTheReaderRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I love stories that fleshes out the world, thought my focus is all on MC growth and interactions with the world so sometimes it can be sloggish to go through it all.
I enjoy the slow build up, the foreshadowing of strength and potential, and the vast world that presents many opportunities for the MC to show off later on. The LitRPG elements of it is one that I look forward to, to seeing how MC will gain more skills and grow stronger bit by bit, farming along the way to his greatness.
My only drawback is an unfair one, that I discovered this story too early, and the lack of chapters make the story even harder to read through when I just want to read about the Jian Tian (MC) learning and growing and getting stronger. - BerserkingRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I’ll start by admitting I’m not a fan of novels that rely on RPG-style Panels or Systems. They often feel like shortcuts used by inexperienced writers to justify overpowered cheat skills, turning the story into another generic wish-fulfillment fantasy.
That said, this novel surprised me. While it does include a System, its role so far is to optimize the protagonist’s cultivation method. As a reincarnated character, he brings modern, streamlined thinking to an ancient practice. Think Excel spreadsheets for cultivation—those old-school cultivators have no idea what they’re missing, haha. If the System remains a reflection of his modern mindset rather than a random power boost, I think it’s a brilliant touch. It hasn’t been deeply explored yet, but as long as it doesn’t devolve into a “Golden Finger” that makes him absurdly OP without reason, I’m on board.
The story starts off heavy with exposition, but that gradually shifts toward “showing, not telling,” which makes the narrative feel more natural and engaging. The pacing improves, and the world-building becomes more immersive.
The protagonist isn’t boring—he’s just a regular person thrown into a dangerous new world, trying to survive. It’s like real life: you see a huge, muscular guy and instinctively know you can’t take him on. In this world, people may look fragile, but they’re walking tanks with terrifying power. It’s fascinating to watch the protagonist slowly grasp the vast disparity between his old world and this one. I really appreciated how the author handled this learning curve without killing off the protagonist, while still showing he’s modestly clever. Charles Darwin would be proud, haha.
In summary: If you’re tired of overpowered protagonists who feel unrealistic and dull, this novel offers a refreshing alternative. It’s slower-paced and more grounded, with the promise of meaningful character interactions and mature themes handled well so far. Lots of potential here. - BoredHandsRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This story is good, I haven't noticed any grammar or spelling issues. The flow is good, there's even descriptions of some words and sayings at the bottom of the chapters, especially the earlier ones.
The start can be a bit slow, frustrating especially for usual wuxia/xianxia readers. However, it improves and gets interesting later on. MC sure gets bold and this makes for some interesting, perhaps satisfying chapters. - HaveRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0To start off, the start was a bit rough, no clue what the mc was really doing, and it felt quite chaotic seeing him increasingly fumble interactions. That said, it does slowly get better from what i've seen in the later chapters but issues like missing commas and awkward sentence structure remain.
That said, this is my initial thoughts and it might be better or worse later on. I did like the additional chinese proverbs though, thought it was cool, but other obscure chinese sayings should also be elaborated on
