- RobotjoeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0SON OF B!TCH, I opened a door I shouldn't have. It's pretty good and also I dont know how to feel but I would recommend this story to people who dont easily quit a story because of one thing they dont like about a story.
- ChronimRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall impression: This story is for those who like heartbreaking and stories who might bring the one or two tears to a reader.
There will not be spoilers in this review other than what is stated in the introduction.
Style score: The author strikes the reader with aimed short sentences who bring forth a certain intimacy with the storytelling.
Story- and Character-score: Read it, all of it, before you continue to read please. Ideals and personalities can be forged by whatever hardships life throws at the individual which is wonderfully demonstrated by the tone of the story and the flawless characterisation.
Grammar score: Errors not found. - The SpectatorRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This story is about a wanderer, whom is very unfortunate. Everyone he knows, betrayed him in someway. His only goal is to live peacefully and not be like the ones who disappointed him. This novel is all about his growth inside of this world. At the end, he is faced with a choice and hopefully his adventure continues in a sequel.
Author should continue this story. Rate: 4.25 - EonianSmithRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5When I read a novel or a book, I look for how the story and struggles of the charecters affect me.
- GalmRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Really good, non cliched transmigration story. The grammar may get a little rough sometimes, a couple of missed words, but overall its really good. Keep up the good work!
- BullerRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I just couldn't. I normally restrict myself to reading four chapters and then giving a review. I barely got through to chapter 2 and just had to stop when looking at chapter 3. (That sounded way harsher than I wanted it to be but I can't be bothered to rewrite it).
Grammar is technically okay. Style is... able to make me slightly annoyed. Characters isn't something I can comment on since I haven't read enough. 4/5 - amirtal75Royal Road★★★★ 3.5I'm only giving three starts rating because of two reasons:
1. the story lacks a punch, something interesting besides the realness of an avarage guys emotions in a different world.
Him, his, he........ are for males.
Hers, hers, she... are for females.
I would like to say that this is a story with a lot of potential, and i truly appriciate the realness of emotions. I do not wish for the main character to become OP all of a sudden. But i think a steady improvment in abilities and not only mentality is needed.
Another think is i would like to remind you to not forget the secondary characters for too long. continuity is needed for a smooth flow of the plot. - CrimsonmercRoyal Road★★★ 3.0Right so after catching up to the authors releases the first thing I would point out is that this story is a good read,
if you can ignore gramatical errors that is only slightly better than most xianxia novels. There is numerous breaks in immersion thanks to this whether its from knee jerk reaction setences or poor spelling. The latter appearing only occasionly. This indisputably pops up more the further in you read.
The story overall is a good tragedy nothing can really be criticised if not for being slightly predictable but nonetheless good. The character interaction is a little bland near the end with all relationships being only skindeep.
I'd have to say the worst quality of this novel is that the imperative rule of show don't tell is repeatedly abused like the main character. This pointedly appears in all of the relationships between characters Leiko and Mc ,Seiko and Mc, pretty much everyones connection to the Mc is bonded with this fragile stinglike connection that has no real implications. - toomuchtimeRoyal Road★★★ 2.5There are grammar errors that appear consistently like speaking in present tense instead of the past, wrong spelling, etc.
Everything is spoonfed to the reader, just like in chinese novels, you should expect the fleshing of the character to be a chapter were they tell you what is wrong with them, what they hate, what they like, etc.
And finally the redeeming feature is that the descriptions and placing are right on point, fights, actions, places, everything is very life like if you skip the grammar mistakes once again.
