Tale from an Abyss

The tale of a man lost in an abyss of contradiction and reflection. Servius is lost in the Warp, and must survive the trials it gives, while trying to remain who he once was.I have decided to also make a song for each chapter, I guess it's a musical as well

This is a story written about a character that I've played in a Warhammer 40k based roleplay for several years name Servius. Servius is a Felinid who was part of a inquisitorial guard regiment tasked with taking a system called Chimir. This system had many planets, each with their own problems to fix, but the server shut down before we could take on the final planet: Chimir Prime, essentially a daemon world.

I then played Servius as emerging from a warp portal during one of the missions that included his old regiment. Servius found that much had changed during his time away from reality, and has grown a bit resentful of all his old friends gaining further power besides that of a mortal.

This takes place in the time (about a year irl, 500 years in-game) between roleplaying servers. I decided that a suitable way for Servius to get to the new setting was that he had been trapped in the Warp for all that time.

This is the story that I'm writing to justify things that I decided to do upon entering into the new roleplaying server, and also a fun exercise to keep me occupied.
