Summoned by Monster Girls

Description

Life hit Liam Cosgrave hard, like it has for a lot of people. Forced to work a dead end job to make ends meet, he barely had energy to do anything besides work and sleep. His life was basically just day to day survival.

That is, until he was summoned to another world in a freak accident.

Sitting in his truck after a fender bender on the highway, Liam was questioning whether something was out to get him. At that moment, events conspired to toss him to another world. Upon arriving, he met a pair of interesting young women who had been trying to summon a creature to act as a party member and protector, as well as a school project. Instead they got Liam, which was more than they had bargained for, given that humans were creatures of legend and myth in their world.

He had no sooner agreed to work with these two when the same mysterious force that transported him there promptly reversed and shot him back to Earth, leaving him with a parting message that the girls would call him back soon.

And thus, Liam's life trying to balance his day job and being summoned to another world started. After all, what sort of mischief could his girls get up to that they'd need a 'legendary creature' to get them out of it?

---

This is a SLOW BURN harem story. There will be a harem but it isn't going to get rushed. There will be gore, fighting, realistic reactions to death and emotional conflict. Also slice of life! Since the girls demand the chance to just relax after all..

Also lots of monster-girls.

It has everything one needs for a good story, good details (character and otherwise) good emotional building between people, Unique characters (no cardboard cutouts here), world(universe?) building, good pacing, grammar is on point, the intimate scenes are well done and not just 'smut' but something that deepens a relationship, internal thought processes well defined, defined(and well paced) power systems, and last but not least the MC isn't an idiot.
Give it a read, the genre may not be your cup of tea but you won't regret it.

A  portal fantasy with a twist. The relationships are fun, and the adventures are well written. There is just enough spice to keep me interested without the book devolving into word porn. Characters are unique and quirky. The MC grows over the course of the story.
I've been reading the Authors works on Kindle, and eagerly await new stories about my favourite space wizard, normally due to my own personal neurocies having to wait while an author works through their release schedule would make me grind my teeth but the fact that I personally enjoy every book in the schedule helps.
I found Summoned by Monster Girls on RR after searching online for when MGIS next book would be releasing, this was over the Christmas break. Seeing all the chapters available made me feel like it was truly Christmas and I binged HARD!
I have now joined however many people are awaiting single chapter releases, my instant gratification monkey who is normaly the driver of my existence, sits quietly in his mental cage only rattling the bars when I got to this stories bookmarked page.

This is an intriguing take on the whole isekai trope. Where the protagonist is summoned for short periods to aid his two cute college girl summoners who are studying magic and summoning . the summoning costs mana which is absorbed by the system and the DSR is the interdimensional bureau that assigns him a case worker to ease him through the transition into the first human traveller recorded in DSR history. Must read !

The character development of the main trio is fantastic so far, the side characters feel well fleshed out and  have realistic interactions, and the premise is genuinely interesting, having to balance every day life and this new fantastical situation.
the writer also did very very well on the writing of the day job, i used to run dock work and damn near had flash backs hearing about the nonsense that was going on with the supervisor.

    Yep, Still just good!!!!!!!!!!
    I really recommend it
It become a little slow in some parts but it has its place in the story and for character growth. Due, it dragged, compared to the rest, a little in those specific parts. But the quality and detailed storytelling pushed me through
But the grammar is still good, the chapters are still contained. The release rate is absolutely fine. The interactions are golden. The character is growing his character and powers on his own pace, the author seems to have a plan. I like how the author retells the details and I am always satisfied when the story itself questions or answers questionable details.
The romance is good, enjoyable, and has its place, but it is slightly pushed.
    ——WARNING— two things—
First. Have some patients. This is story is delivered at its own pace. Allow the story to flow. This is shown with the MC's need for character growth.
Second. this is a harem story. I would even call it the classic harem story (good guy interacting with many girls instead of chasing then)
But this is good. And a high-quality version of those.
    Try it.
Seriously. Read the first few chapters and marvel at the quality.

This is just good And comfortable
    Little else to say.
It is about a hardworking good guy who is summoned by collage girls. It is more slice-of-life adventure.
Also this is a harem story so be aware. That the girls will find the MC attractive.
    This is really pleasant.
I had started to question some things. But the novel answered them or at least brought up the questions itself, so be patiencent and allow the story to show itself.
    This is good!!!!
The only criticism I might have is about his attitude which is way too accepting. But the first chapter made good on introducing the MC and his character as a guy that will never say no and is a stable person with some sadness
But that just means that there will be character growth. I also think its some slight mental influence to ma

I love how the story started out, It has blended well, throughout, each chapter. Yes it's a little slow but continues to build to the next chapter. I'm excited to see, how this will progress. I can say, there are a lot of stories that lose my interest as the story progresses. This is not one of them.

When I first picked up this story I went and bought the first book on Amazon, and I must say those first 33 chapters are fantastic. It sets up a very interesting story with a lot of promise and much to explore, and most importantly to me, the writing was great. I was greatly satisfied, and I continued my reading here. I'm now a bit past chapter 100, and I don't love it as much anymore. I feel like the chapters are bogged down with text sometimes, more "Tell" than "Show" in "Show don't tell". I still love the concept of this story, but I feel like the execution is worse. I might just stop here, and appreciate what I"ve gotten so far. My honest opinion for new readers? Try it if the concept interests you. It very much delivers on the ideas it presents.

The dimensional summoning is well grounded in its world-building, and the main characters are generally pleasant and varied. The combat is clear and believable, with good use of tactics and environment.
The initial meeting between Liam and his summoners, then caseworker feels like the universe is trying to give him a harem of curvy women eager to please him, though it eases off and only the lamia aggressively flirts with him, which is consistent with her character and cold-blooded fondness for warmth.
However, there is a fairly tired interaction that keeps repeating, where the wolf girl thanks the MC for being a good protector, he says he's just doing his duty, and the lamia implies that they should "reward" him. It often reads like your standard harem protagonist earning the love of women by being nice and occasionally standing up for them, instead of as a result of a deepening relationship and understanding of one another. Hopefully, we will see the main characters grow closer, sharing fears and insecurities, and finding emotional support with each other.
I am a little frustrated that the main character doesn't branch outside of reptilian enchantments, despite having the entire animal kingdom as a bank of abilities. Not to mention his complete disinterest in the mechanics of the girls' magic, though that might be Liam not having a good enough grasp of physics to have insights on how things could be improved or exploited.
All in all, it makes for some nice light reading, once it hits its stride.

Overall, I really like this story. It's got a great concept and flows fairly well.
The concept that a male human is accidentally summoned and then bonded to two female students of a fantasy world is perfect. It has a nice set up and sinks the hook deep to keep you interested.
I think for me where it loses that last star is that these characters seem to act younger than college age. Maybe 15/16? Honestly, if the erotic parts were removed I believe this would make a top shelf YA/Teen book series. And I do mean series because a story like this, three friends learning and growing together never gets old.
Not sure if this counts as a spoiler or not, but I'll say it anyway - spoiler alert.
The reason I say this story makes me think of a YA/Teen book is the dialogue. The cutesy nick names, the uncomfortableness around the opposite sex, and the classes the girls are taking seem to be high school level.
Also, Liam seems like a good guy, but I think he has wide mood swings based on what he believes is his duties to his charges and how he actually feels about them. Again, I could imagine this being a 16 year old boy, a bit introverted, finding his people and coming into his own as he learns along side of the girls. Aging them down would still leave room for the wild affectionate friend and the shy reserved one, both in love with Liam and he with them.
Lastly, and most importantly, I really do believe this story is a very fun read and most people are going to love it. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to read more.

The MC is one of those types who needs 2k chapters to stop being a dog. Complete lack of self-awareness and self-respect. And the constant repetition of things that have already been said previously is tedious. The author continues to tell us about MC's growth, but there's none, and he becomes even worse.
