Soune Argent wants a quiet life.

However, such a privilege is rare on Durendel.

Pockets of civilisation are kept in check by growth-hungry corporations and a stern-handed government. Any and all actions are watched by an orbital ring ready to stifle conflicts before they can start, scouring outcasts and undesirables from the face of the scarred planet. All for the sake of maintaining peace.

Soune Argent is a victim of this peace. Narrowly saved from the destruction of her home as a child, she was raised in and taught to survive the chaotic lands that litter the world. Now alone once more, she seeks to claim a spot for herself within an Oasis' and finally live a life free from struggle. The path to peace is hardly a straight one, fraught with conflicts and conspiracy. Along the way, Soune discovers she isn't quite as alone as she thought, or that the history of the world is as straightforward as it seems.

To survive on Durendel is a struggle, to thrive even moreso.
