Author's Note: Three of the four main characters of this story are all important side characters from a story that I haven't written yet as my skills as an author are not yet up to the task. However, I do have enough of the story nailed down that no changes I make in that story should affect this one. That said, the purpose of this story is to both practice my writing and to generally have fun with my characters and the world around them.

- JballaustinRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So far out of all the sci-fi spaceship AI stories out there so far, I like this one the best . Yes the dungeon and its partners seem pretty over powered but I like over powered within reason. I am eager to see where the dungeon spacious building in town building go to . Hopefully we’ll see more chapters .
- MajorMackRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Good grammar, good plot and well thought out and rounded character. The world is being built around us as we read. Also spelling, spelling is good. All in all a very nice start to a promising novel. Keep it up.
- JC1223Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Stories with AIs turned into dungeon cores are unfortunately rare in my experience, so this is a nice change of pace from normal DC stories. Plus, the techno-magic combination is very interesting, as are the characters and their interactions.
This is one of my favorite stories I've read in ages, and honestly the only thing I'm disappointed with is that it's gone on Hiatus right at a cliffhanger. I'm greatly looking forward to when it resumes. - Sky3FallRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I really like the concept of an AI turning into a dungeon, as pretty much all the other dungeon stories out there are either humanoid to dungeon or just a newborn dungeon. Hope you keep it going even through the school year!

TLDR: A dungeon core transmigration story where you're interested in learning about where the MC came from almost as much as where he is, both settings being unique, interesting, and important.
It's early days as I'm writing this, but so far Starship Dungeon is extremely promising. It is a 'transmigrated into a dungeon core' novel in which the origin universe is original, interesting, and incredibly important to the story. I can't emphasize that enough. Unlike most dungeon core transmigration stories, the main character was not human or even humanoid, and there are already hints that the MCs basic inhumanity is going to guide how both he and his dungeon develop in the future. Let me give you an example, the moment that really hooked me on this novel: Bud's first summoned monsters appeared wearing crew uniforms of the ship he once was (and, well, kinds still is). There are a lot of other cool moments like that slowly crawling out of the woodwork, but I'll leave those for you to discover. - gemrothRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This has potential. Looking forwerd to more.
- TilaztRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5So, overall really good story, a bit all over the place but still structured enough that it is not too disturbing. The world feels fleshed out, and the characters are interesting in the lore kind of way, not only because of their background but also their family tree and their unique race blend.
However, the characters do NOT feel unique enough personality-wise. They talk and think way too similarly to each other for there to be depth. They feel like they should be different, because they are described as such, but they aren’t... and it’s a shame!
Lastly, and I’m sure I forgot stuff but it isn’t important or noticeable enough for me to care, there is a serious problem with the way religion is developed in this novel... Are you really going to tell me that between all the worlds and races in the first universe and then ANOTHER UNIVERSE, the only religion that pops up and that every one practices is the One God thing? I call heavy bullshit. And that is while ignoring the fact that we on earth have already more than a dozen major religions that have existed or do exist... I find it HIGHLY unlikely that A random alternate universe just so happens to believe and pray the same ‘God’ as the protagonists, whom by the way should not either, why would dragons and dryads worship the same god? With that much tech thrown around? I think not - Rowing SaylorRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5was wary of the idea of a starship as a dungeon. It seemed obnoxious (and admittedly the idea is) but it has turned out rather well. The world is fun and interesting, I like the magical sci-fi combination and am looking forward to seeing how this novel turns out. It so far seems to be a decent amount of normal interactions which make a novel more fun than simply numbers and power-ups. The current characters being OP makes it necessary.
This is a tentative review, but it is amusing enough I'll keep reading.
