The story is a very dialogue-driven tale which could use more world-building and description, but don't let that put you off. It is a very unique and interesting tale that actually needs that extra world description because you quickly find yourself wanting to see more of the world. It is a land of the undead, swirling with ghosts and skeletons, being visited by a young vampire girl and through her eyes we experience a culture that simply doesn't exist in the real world.

The narrative grabs your attention and keeps it. Unlike many tales, it avoids excessive backstory, presenting the essentials without drowning you.
It seamlessly fits into the dungeon novel category, with exemplary execution. The progression feels organic, maintaining a steady pace that's easy to digest and engage with.
The writing is solid, free from errors that I could spot. The characters are easy to connect with.

This story is really good. The MC is a very sympathetic character who is quite interesting and likeable. She finds herself in a dark situation and around other interesting characters. The plot and intrigue of the various political factions in the story are interesting as well. The worldbuilding isn't always clear and the grammar can be a bit distracting, but aside from that, the story is incredible.

Although part of a review swap, I most say that the story is, honestly, pretty good. It nails the "show, don't tell" approach to storytelling.
This book fits perfectly into the dungeon novel genre, with an engaging monster element, giving fans exactly what they're looking for: it's both progressive and entertaining.
The author has evidently invested considerable effort into maintaining a well-balanced pacing throughout the narrative. The storyline and foundational premise are presented in a straightforward, linear fashion, contributing to the novel's accessibility and ease of comprehension.
All in all, I will certainly recommend.

It's a dungeon novel, with a monster element, so it's just what you'd expect it to be; Progressive, and fun.
The author has put in a lot of effort to balance the story's pace, which I as an author myself can appreciate. The plot and premise is pretty linear, which makes the novel easy to read and understand. 5 stars from me, hoping to read more in the future, when there are more chapters! Speaking of chapters, it would be optimal if they were named with numbers, like: Chapter 1,2,3 etc.

So I reading this for the first time. My thoughts on it were a little weird since I am not used to reviewing. The style seems ok It could become better in the future but overall the system for skills and affinities is unique and original since I haven't seen something like that before. Grammar is good for the most part but there are times when little things slip through and change the flow of the wording or minor errors like saying a tiny skeleton was 160m, damn that's a big boy.
The story has that It is going for seems like revenge type but may change later on not sure yet will have to see in later chapters, also very dark a five-year-old trying to off themselves multiple to the point where pain doesn't bother them anymore. But the people around her remind me of the Korean webtoons where people are just shitty and treat children like trash. Hope those characters die later on.
The Mc personality has become cold because of her mother and the others which seems fair. Still, the vampire king is a fucking idiot, who can't even run a kingdom and rather send his broken daughter off to one of his enemies, who may have killed her just because she was a vampire and she shot at him the first time they met. And sending a letter acting like he loves his daughter he abandoned. I agree with her punching his lights out so many different ways to fix the situation but he chooses to damn his people by sending them to their deaths.

I absolutely enjoyed this gothic tale of a young vampiress who is exiled from her home to live amongst the undead. (For the dead and vampires are two separate communities in this unique take). Ayra is much like the cover art. She is stoic and yet there is a deep sadness that lurks in her soul.
The characters in this book are very colorful and this is more like a JRPG type story combined with some Tim Burton whimsy than something truly grimdark. Thats how I like my gothic stories. Maya the mischievous transforming ghost is another favorite.
Grammarwise, the author is working on their skills but they have expressed a great desire to get better with it and I still immensely enjoyed this story regardless.
The coolest thing about this dungeon story is characters have pokemon like skill sets where they have four moves and cannot learn another without removing one. It's a very legendary system and instantly familiar for millions of people.
All in all, a very promising and fun story with a pinch of darkness but also a lot of fun too.

The story is truly captivating and interesting. The story does not overuse narrative exposition like most stories. It tells you exactly what is going on without boring you out with details.
As previous reviews stated, the story does fit well into the dungeon novel genre and it is done excellently well. The pacing is balanced and everything unfolds naturally. The plot is also very easy to understand and follow.
The monster elements of the story is also very intriguing and adds to the story's flair. The story could use a little more description in the early chapters but it gets better as the story progresses.
The grammar of the story is also good and I didn't notice or see any mistakes. The characters are also realistic and relatable.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the story.

I really enjoyed reading so far. The world so far is pretty interesting and the characters are as well. There are some plot points that can really be expanded on or twisted that could really make it great. Only critiques I would have so far are things that other reviewers have already pointed out. Some of the grammar could be improved and there are some areas where it would help to "show not tell". But overall, an enjoyable story!

I want to be clear and say I haven't read the entirety of the published chapters yet, but I've mostly enjoyed what I've read so far!
There's a ton of potential with the world building here, along with a setting that's just begging to be more deeply described.
Style - We move through moments and decisions quickly, not dwelling on much and just firing story beat after story beat out. I'd love to see the writing slow down a touch and add some gothic energy to what is a very classic setting just waiting for that extra spice.
Story - Brutal mostly, with heart in places (some in places they shouldn't be, like outside a body!). I like a vampire novel, and I won't apologise for that. Definitely not for children, but if you're not a child, you could easily enjoy this story!
Grammar - punctuation and paragraphs throughout are a little janky but nothing that makes it unreadable.
Characters - Here's where the story will live or die. If you like the characters, then flying through chapters should be simple as that's almost all of what we're working with in the first arc.
A fun read and I hope that the author keeps it up!
