Description

Evolve or die.Space Ants is a story of the progression of a colony of ants living in the ring system of a gas giant.

A hard sci-fi about never giving up, staying alive, and reproducing. Liker/HFYbut for ants.

This will be a serial with different parts released quickly after each other, and then with differing segmented story lines released ever few months or so. I also plan on letting the ant colony slowly upgrade, so it will have a bit of a progression.

This is an interesting story that's just getting started.  Looking forward to seeing where it will go in the future. Good use of real scientific principles including things like specific bacterial doing chemosynthesis for energy.
Style - The writing style matches the characters well.
Grammar - No issues that I noticed.
Story - Well paced and the narration makes sense.  No major plot holes or "MC being unreasonably stupid".  I do question where the ants got silk from as it's not something they normally produce (not spoilers since it's in the cover).  All of the other specializations are somewhat related to real ants as we know them, but that one is kind of separate.
Characters - Several different ants, with different jobs.  They are distinctly written so you can easily tell them apart even though they are part of a limited hive mind.
A couple things to note - There's no real mention of relative size.  We don't know if these are normal Earth size ants or if they've changed somehow.  There's also no discussion of micro-meteorites.  I would definitely think they would play a part in this type of a story, but I suppose the realism line has to get drawn somewhere.
