I just wanted to say that the novel is somewhat good so far, although there are some parts that feel a bit weak or awkward.
But in any case, I can't give a full judgment based on only seventeen chapters. So keep writing for a more complete evaluation.
As for the style, I really liked it. I'm one of those people who enjoy descriptive writing, so the overall style, especially the parts with rich description-appeals to me.
As for the story, as I mentioned before, I can't offer a detailed evaluation yet since it's still really in the beginning stages. But so far, it's presenting both good and weak elements at the same time.
The grammar, while it has some mistakes, is actually fine. They can be overlooked.
I liked the characters, even though I haven't learned much about them yet. But so far, they seem interesting to me. Some of them carry a sense of mystery and secrecy, while others are more open and expressive.
Overall, the novel is trying to offer something good, and maybe it will succeed, or maybe it won’t. It all depends on what’s going on in the author’s mind, but it doesn’t seem bad.
However, I’d like to point out a few things to the author:
Don’t exaggerate when presenting your characters, whether in their evil or their goodness.
Your writing style is somewhat good, but it really leans heavily toward description. That might bother some readers, so try to condense it a bit. A chapter you publish with around 2,300 words might have nearly 1,000 of them as pure description! (That’s just an estimate from me, it could be wrong, I don’t know.)
And finally, don’t be late with your updates again!
