- Midnight_ReaderRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is really well done. It’s a smooth mix of humor, world-building, and a deeper emotional moment that feels earned. The way the characters talk to each other is fun and natural, and their connection is easy to care about. It also has just the right touch of weird fantasy that makes the world feel alive without slowing things down too much.
The story hits in a quiet but powerful way. Dryth’s guilt and worry come through clearly, and Sindri’s calm, thoughtful response turns the moment into something surprisingly uplifting. The reveal about their shared lifespan changes everything, and it’s a cool twist that makes you want to see where things go. It leaves things on a hopeful note without being too dramatic. Overall, it just feels good to read—fun, thoughtful, and heartfelt in the right places.I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to read it. I hope the author will post more chapters soon. - Reader1606Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's great, It's detailed, I like action scenes most, they go well with detailed writing style. Easy to understand what's going on. (I think I read edited version of story? Idk it was understandable and getting better in writing every chapter)
Mc is a kind of mage class in a world where people have magic, and because his class is a bit weird he gets a instructor for intersting cases. So, story isn't in set in a school. I don't know how to talk about mc's powers or story without spoiling but they all were very unique and interesting! Mc also has a funny snake companion, which might be my favorite character in a series. Tho I enjoy reading about mc a lot as well. Together they go on adventures to train but end up in some tricky situations and schemes! But what isn't a part of politics of someone, really?
Exan (instructor) is another reason to like story, I always liked half crazy teacher types. He is giving some Gojo vibes as well. Eager to see his real power.
I don't have any downsides to talk about other than there are lot of descriptions of system and sometimes surroundings. Do you consider this bad? Maybe first book had a bit of info dump. But it was very coherent and I understood what they talk about. A bit like good lecture, which it was for mc. There are less and less info dumps as chapters goes on. And writing gets more polished.
There are lot of characters mc interact with, and they all feel substantial rather than background prop. Overall, I am excited to read new episodes. Well done. Recommended. - MattianRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This needs a review!
While this feels as though it needs a little polish I'm really liking the story and characters. It feels slow burn with a good base from which to move forward. While the general area setting seems fairly typical this feels more due to the main characters lack of knowledge than the setting itself and there are lots of places for it to be fleshed out. The characters themselves I find well developed as well as those places they have interacted with.
Again, great characters! Give it a read! - BigLandsRoyal Road★★★ 3.0I gave 3 stars on most of the categories as I didn't make it far enough to give this story an accurate review due to the grammar and spelling's abysmal quality. It is nearly impossible to read and comprehend what's going on because of the myriad of spelling errors, incorrect words, confounding sentence structure, run-on sentences, and plenty of other confusing mistakes. Which is why I gave up most of the way through chapter 2.
A few examples: a woman is wearing a "think shirt", the association is "centered on the lovely city that we are currently in", "but however", and plenty more sentences and phrases, that just make no sense in context.
Several of these mistakes, though not all, have even been corrected by readers in the comments numerous times, but the author has chosen to ignore them all and doesn't seem to be active in the comments at all.
The plot seems as though it might be interesting, even if the synopsis itself could use a redo, but I do not recommend reading this story unless the author puts in the effort to fully edit all of the chapters, or at least the early ones since it might improve later. - SmaughRoyal Road★★ 1.5It feels like there was an error and some chapters were left out, sentences blend into other sentences with no punctuation, making it hard to understand where a statement ends and the other begins.
It reminds me of the machine translated Chinese webnovels I used to read back in the day.
Story wise it seems fun, but I won’t put myself through the hassle of deciphering it - SylvaRoyal Road★ 0.5First off this story needs at least 1 editing pass just to make things read anywhere near correctly. Constant misspelling, formatting and incorrect punctuation everywhere. Secondly this might be a reincarnation story? I say might because like the mc just randomly starts thinking about Earth stuff but not a single time was it actually established he's from Earth. Like there were hints but it is specifically mentioned at that point to not remember any of that info but literally flooding every chapter after it is the mc thinking about Earth info or using Earth logic and it makes zero sense.
