Description

I used to be a guy named Keiko.A hunter wannabe. A total dud. Zero powers in a world where having none is basically a crime. One night, while doomscrolling the Hunter’s Forum, I saw a veteran hunter whining about how everyone else was “wasting their potential.” Naturally, I told him to shut up in a very normal, very reasonable 5,700-word rant. His reply? “Bet.” Next thing I know, I’m dropped into an actual dungeon with monsters, traps, and no refund policy. Light-hearted at times and at others tear-jerking with a sprinkle of comedic nature. LitRPG factor will come into play, takes time. Usually I don't leave reviews and just enjoy the story. But I disagree with one of the other reviews, so here we are.
This story blows half the stories I see on the RS nowadays out of the park. The main character is entertaining; they're impulsive but in a charming way. The fight scenes are good, pacing is perfect, and there is enough mystery that I keep looking for the 'next chapter' button. The chapters are a little short, and I would actually prefer fewer but fatter chapters. Currently 1 chapter is barely enough to really immerse myself into the setting.
A major turn-off for some people (and the other reviewer) is that there is probably some AI usage in the process of writing. It's structured similarly to what AI would generate. But honestly? It doesn’t matter. There’s clearly a person behind the plot and the world-building, and the writing is decent enough that it doesn't get in the way of the story.
All things considered it's a pretty good story and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

I expected comedy first, depth second. I was wrong. The rank system, monster, and dungeon mechanics feel thought-out instead of improvised. The author doesn’t over-explain, which I appreciate and the protagonist is hilariously self-aware without being cringe. What really sells it is though is the the pacing. It doesn't feel unnecessarily bogged down or too fast, and there is no unnecessary stat dumps every two paragraphs.
Honestly my biggest complaint is that chapters feel short  at times making it really easy to catch up. I often hit the end just as things start ramping up. A bit more expansion with longer chapters would solve this.

For me, this is around a 3.5–4 star story, but because it belongs to a niche genre I like — gender bender / comedy / slice of life without cringe harem elements or time-wasting romance (long romance arcs that take chapters away without real progress) — I give it an extra star.
Since the author clearly states that the story is AI-assisted, I won’t deduct points for that. That makes it a solid 5 stars for me.
It is a gender-bender comedy written in a style similar to Japanese light novels, but without being cringey, without a stereotypical “good guy” Japanese MC, and it does a decent job of being believable.
For example, the MC’s (or FMC’s?) lack of knowledge about dungeons and failure to properly research things isn’t directly stated, but it makes sense given Keiko’s situation.
There aren’t many chapters yet, and they aren’t very long, so the gender-bender aspect hasn’t been explored much beyond being “inconvenient.”(But hasn't been dismissed or solved behind the curtain)
The fights aren’t great, but they fit the “tutorial phase” well:
the MC has no combat knowledge or instincts, and the monsters are weak. I’ll judge the fights later, but for now it’s a plus for me — especially because the author didn’t make the MC kill some SSSSS++++ ultra monster in the first dungeon. The MC actually uses her brain in combat.
Overall, it’s fine. If the tags match your interests, it’s a great fast-food-type story.
I wrote this review mainly because I disagree with another review here. I don’t give one star to every story that is AI-assisted or has tags I personally dislike (though I may lower the score if those tags are used badly).
The author uses the tags correctly and gives proper warnings.
As a slight joke and because I'm not native english speaker this review has been AI Assisted :)

I like to story so far. Classic LitRPG with main character awakening its powers through different means than the rest of society. Any LitRPG fan will enjoy rieading this one. The world's magic system is shown rather than told which is always a nice way to learn the rules in a new fiction. It has a few new ideas I have not seen before. Main character is a little cynical and has good humor. Looking forward to see how the main character progresses.

A gender bender, comedy, LitRPG, slice of life story. It checks all the boxes in what I like, just not as well as I’d like. The Gender Bender is funny in how it happened, then does a fail in the handling. The MC acknowledges his being Girlified to a young teen girl with a: Oh, OK, (shrugs). (He/She's extremely un-self-aware) It's billed as a comedy and yet we're missing major funny plot points, so I'm disappointed. One star off.
The LitRPG elements are handled well. Props for that.
The comedy is mostly done well in the slice-of-life, where a young teen handles monsters, meeting strangers, and even war.
Overall, I’m enjoying this story and looking forward to where this is going. After all, she has yet to be Lazy.

The writing is good and the comedy is top class. But the MC is dumb as rocks, which makes the whole thing frustrating to read. Like, I get dumb MCs who are not that smart because they've lived cushy lives that made them naive. But the MC here is not that. They've been marked for failure since childhood and had to struggle to survive. But she still has the survival instincts of a frying pan. They're the kind of MC that makes you think that any single person in the world other than them getting powers would be a net positive to the world. That the MC initially getting a NULL rating was the only reason they survived to adulthood.
Unfortunately, the writing is really good. The comedic parts are genuinely funny as well. It's very Japanese LN-ey but actually well written. The author shows real skill in presenting this trope without any of the cringe. Their writing skills are the only reason I'm not giving a lower rating.

Since my original review was deleted, we will do this slightly more professionally, I guess.
The overuse of antithesis as a literary device for descriptions that, in my opinion, do not warrant its use, was very distracting and fell flat in my opinion. Many of the metaphors used also felt like nonsense, such as the phrase "Logos sharp enough to cut glass." Sure, I get what the writer is trying to say, but, in my opinion, it was not important enough for such metaphors; much better in cases where we already have some experience with hunter crests, and we are encountering a major clan for such a metaphor. Lastly, I found the use of triadic phrasing so early on and so consistently to be tempo-destroying. Triadic Phrasing is supposed to be punchy and used to crank tension, anticipation, or other such emotions. I feel nothing for this story yet, and so its use was wasted in my opinion.
I have no problem with the use of any of these literary devices, but I find that people often overuse them nowadays and don't understand their intended purpose, which leads to stories that feel formulaic and fluff-filled since these devices can often be used to effectively say nothing. I caution anyone who tries to implement these devices to be cognizant of their use, as the abundance of them in AI writing can lead people to assume your work is AI or at least for people to feel like your writing is lower quality. It took me researching these literary devices to understand what about amateur writing was causing me to gravitate towards some stories and feel cheated by others, but it's a common complaint by a lot of readers I know these days.
