The author of Hidden Class: Pacifist brings you a card-based LitRPG set in a dystopian future. The game consists of traveling to different arenas, capturing cards, and finding the right recipes to craft them.In a world teetering on the brink of extinction, a sentient AI takes over and partitions humanity into a thousand sectors. Each year, these sectors must prove their cultures are worth preserving. Only those who meet Daisy's strict criteria are given the privilege of bearing children or receiving new inhabitants.
Kai was prepared to be summoned to the 345th exams. It was a fifty-fifty chance between him and Ariel. They dream of starting a family, but the future looks bleak. Afflicted by the blight, Kai faces a daunting challenge: excel in the trials or risk losing his family and his culture forever.
When Kai enters the immersive VR environment where the exams are held, he finds Daisy is testing humanity's creativity and logical thinking through a competition called 'Snap Craft.' Will all the lessons Kai has learned throughout his life be enough to save his family?
What to expect from the novel:
- Lots ofcard collecting and crafting, with a bit of photography;
-Dystopian future.Some readers have told me that the world feels like alighter version of 'The Hunger Games.'
- Each chapter is 2300~2500 words. They begin with a small flashback and then end with the mc playing Snap Craft;
- None of my novels contain gore, profanity, harem, or mature content;

- KilkopfRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really like this idea, the story doesn't draw you in as much as a life and death battle would, but the stakes are made very clear and makes you follow along with interest. I like the concept of 2 parallel storylines too and think it's done quite nicely here. Overall it's just a nice experience to read and I would recommend it to anyone interested in a nicely paced novel idea, with quite a bit of mystery to boot.
- Arcane_PozharRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The first few chapters felt a little slow, but honestly the story takes off pretty quick. A dark setting with an AI overlord, a competition that's about, of all things, photography, and a fairly clever crafting system all come together nicely, alongside some flashbacks to build the world's history and explain the MC's approach to issues and outlook on life. Definitely really embraces the post-apocalypse setting in a clever way.
- Briar MossRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A novel premise, a strong story style, and solid characterization.
There's not much negative about the story
However, the grating tense pacing (give our boyo a full night of rest will ya Daisy yah daft robot overlord.) and the nonsense dream logic of the doodle god alchemy segment. If all feels less than the sum of its parts, unfortunately.
Author, maybe summarize repetitive crafting notifications? I think the constant stress of the time limits is my main qualm with the story. I understand it's adding tension to a possibly dull creative photography competition but maybe emphasise the character learning more zen.
Rating is deserved 👍 - DandymanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A well woven story, moving from past to present to give life and motivations to the characters, their actions, and the world. Snap Craft is telling a compelling tale of love, loss, and community in a desolate future.
this story is well-worth checking out, and I am curious to see what else is in store in the coming months, and excited to see how everything will resolve by the end. - pithosRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love this. It has so many pretty words and just a little bit of crunch. You can really tell the author wants to pay equal attention to both halves of the litRPG recipe. There's the main thrust of the narrative, and slowly we get more background on the character(s) through beautifully written flashbacks into their home life at each chapter. Always looking forward to the next chapter of this one.
- IgnisioRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The story has a sound premise similar to that of the Hunger Games and shows a lot, I mean a lot of potential. It has been a fun and interesting read so far; I hope it continues to deliver on expectations. This is definitely a recommendation for me. Good job author I give you my well wishes and bid you a happy holiday.
- LovedifferentRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Interesting prompt never seen use of photos like this before will keep for now love the stories at the beginning Neil is such a riot and seriously an electric chair while enjoying poetry one of the weirdest combinations so far. The images at the end are beautiful specially the mushroom didn't know that was a thing
- Aart BluestokeRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5This story is a card collector based on what is seen by the hero in a series of random environments. I find it interesting, but i've rated this 3 stars, as it never seems to be the story that i want to click first, and i fall behind by a bunch of chapters, then only catch up when i've got more than normal free time.
I think the story is a bit random - each chapter is a different scene, with snapshots back to the challenges when the hero was younger in preparation for what is going on.
