Lucian Arcades has watched the mysterious disappearences for years. As the worlds population vanished Lucian knew it would soon be his own turn and his vow to his dead mother to bring the rest of the family back together is still fresh in his mind.
Once transported to the ten realms of the gods, he is and all the worlds people who accompanied him are visited by a glowing figure, power and vain, thrilled to see them die, and eager to see them try to fight their way to the top of the realms and asend to the god realm.
But, there are monsters everywhere, and with death looming and the host of humans in disarray, he must make his way passed the challeneges through the monsters to achieve a vow he simply cannot ignore.
I am just going to be blunt, this is one to watch. Sure it is very early to review so think of this more like a informed suggestion, FOLLOW THIS WRITER.
There are immediately elements like The Ten Realms, Dungeon Crawler Carl, and The Die of Destiny. None exectly fitting this tale, but shadows of each can be seen in the crafting of the story.
For me the opening moments when Lucian was introduced could have been a little stronger if I was to have anything crictal to say, but it wasn't like I was drawn away from the story.
Style, this is a classic LitRPG style though I am still waiting to see if there will be lit RPG stats and the like, its still very early.
Grammar looks good to me, but this is my own weakest area so I won't go there.
There are a lot of promising elements to this story so I am giving the score five stars.
Character score I am a 4.5 because I think Lucian has a lot of characterization to do, and he really needs to find the start of his character arc, but this is super early so, there is a lot of time to join the adventure and enjoy the journey.
