Follow Icarus, a young and anti-social adventurer as he is forced to come to terms with the world around him and perhaps even come to tolerate other people.

In theSIXtimeline, the events ofIcarus and The Glorified Nanniestake place in and around dungeon Évreux, a few generations after system integration.

I originally wrote this two-part short story as a French creative writing peace for one of my classes. At some point, I decided to work it into theSIXtimeline and publish it on Royal Road (and maybe other places). Hence, here we are.

    Umm, I don't have much to say other than that I thought it was a pretty well-done short story. Although admittedly this review is a little biased since I am reviewing my friend's writing!
    Icarus does kind of undergo an abrupt change but that's to be expected of a short story about learning the importance of community and changing because of it.
    I also liked the way that the story loops, setting it up for Icurs to be the next glorified nanny for the next problemed adventure. Moreover, it that without ever explicitly saying so, so its possible something else is happening.
    If I had one suggestion it would be to indicate in the title that the story is completed and get the ongoing tag changed to completed.
    If I have time, I'll try and get around to writing an advanced review.
