The initial operation was carried out by renounced researcher and theoretical physicist Professor Desdemona Laurel and myself, her assistant. Yael Oberlin is a Pokémon Researcher who's life's purpose is studying and attempting to find irrefutable proof of Glitch Pokémon, such as the famed MissingNo. which inspired her work from a young age. However, she remains the laughing stock of the scientific community, failing to provide any kind of proof that goes beyond conspiracy and theoretical analysis. Determined to prove herself, she works tirelessly to achieve her goals, all of which come crumbling down upon the announcement of her mentor's disappearance.After gaining a spot on the mission to bring Professor Laurel back from the alternate world she was studying, Yael teams up with a select hand-picked individuals, some of whom may not be exactly who they claim to be or with pasts intertwined with her own. But beneath the surface of the retrieval mission lies a hidden mystery and sinister forces, and coupled with a world unknown, prove to be a far greater challenge than expected.
