Sin of Babel

“Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens,so that we may make a namefor ourselves; otherwise we will be scatteredover the face of the whole earth.”

But the lord denied such, and brought the tower down onto the earth. Families were torn apart, countries broken into shards, and the sins of men seeped deep into the core of the earth. Sins of the past continue to haunt the present, and dangerous Singularities are scattered all around the world, holding within them vicious monsters and the last vestiges of power from a time long forgotten.

Humanity has grown since then, and with it they've learned of the source of it all, the place where all the sins of Babel seeped into.
