Life is like an Electrode, you know? It will always blows up in your face.

Meet Celeste, who at only fourteen, has travelled all over the world with her parents. She has a life most people can only dream of, and for the most part she was happy with it. Until one day, when the call for adventure strikes and she decides to leave it all behind.

Alongside her best friend, Aria, an Eevee with an attitude, Celeste will set off a quest for independence and adventure. But, in a world where a hero with a Pikachu on his shoulders is still years away from being born, plucky legendaries and budding crime bosses run amok and trouble hides in every corner.

Story about a girl trying to find herself in the world of Pokémon. Set about 15 years before anime/games time.

What to Expect:

+ Slow burn to epic progression fiction;

+ Legendaries;

+ Established but pre-cannon characters;

+ World-building;

+ Light hearted and silly with dark moments sprinkled in for dramatic flair;

+ Slice of life;

+  Me pretending I’m an artist and adding drawings and sketches at the end of every chapter.

+ Elements of time travel, but on the background.

    The structure of the story isn't properly set up. Up until chapter 10; the main character breaks her arm and feints while trying to confront a machop that stole her food, saves a pokemon nearly dying, falls off a boat because she got onto the deck she's not supossed to be on, gets stranded on an abandoned island, nearly dies from poisen because she jumps into the water to catch a water pokemon, and runs into a gyarados trying to raft to pallet town.
    One or two of these things happening in 10 chapters would have been enough. All of them happening is too much. The last three things all happen one chapter after another. There is no breathing room and nothing ever goes well for her. She doesn't seem to learn from her mistakes very well. I would recommend having chapters solely dedicated to her exploring around, having fun with her pokemon, hanging out with friends, or doing various other activities that do not involve her almost dying.
