- protoisRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like it. It gave me a new perspective to view the Star Wars Universe und the different Groups, mainly Jedi and dark Jedi. The Links to the SW Wiki are a nice touch, so those less kwnolegable of the SW Universe can get an idea about the significance and history of the Person/Race/Object/Place/Event. I do hope, dear Author, you continue your Work, it's fun to read.
- KingkidRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0this story is great and the authors knowledge of the Star Wars universe is amazing.
- BruzaRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This is such a grea fanfiction and the author clearly know alot about the starwars universe. The novel is very interesting with the politics ect. however, if i could say one bad thing is that sometimes i feel thats its mooving to fast (the plot). I personally think there should be more time spent on character building and more times on the battles (land battles especially) just to give the book a more 'real' feel. However, apart from that it is a really gripping read and keep it up :)
- PrimeOdinRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5An amazing fan fiction based in the Star Wars universe.
The world building has been fantastic and the authors knowledge of the EU has only further amplified this feeling.
There are a few chapters where a different POV was writen and I feel like the story could really use more of them to understand what some of the other characters are feeling and thinking.
The only flaw in this fiction are the characters themselves. They feel one dimensional and their interactions with each are short and flat most of the time. I hope the author can write some longer interactions in future chapters. For example the interaction between Mace Windu and the Emperors clone was one of the better writen conversations but still has room for improvement.
In conclusion, the world building has been great, the story has been fun and you feel like there are some important goals being set and met as we move forward in time. I would recommend for anyone who is a fan of Star Wars to check out this story. - C3ED0nlineRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Great work, great knowledge depth, excellent revisioning
Spoiler: Spoiler
of a more realistic force influenced universe. Reading the reviews about ppl not being able to keep up with the style is wild. I’ve got minimal stars wars knowledge but the links are there for a reason ppl. Would make the story weird going into detail already covered in canon so I get why the story is written so. Synopsis, great adaptation of the Star Wars uni, basically takes the concept and fleshes it out with actual logic. The only drawbacks deal with lack of imagery, and characters dialogue/ motivations, and these take very little from enjoying the concept. - InfinitusAnimousRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This story is very entertaining and a good read when you want something to spend time on. I enjoyed it a lot during certain times reading it. It is a great length not too long but substantial enough to enjoy it. So while some things can be fixed, I think it is a great story that I worth a read.
- GeorgBRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Great stuff, one dimensional character(not 2d) but great world and ship building
- VihyungrangRoyal Road★★★ 3.0So this story makes me scratch my head a bit because it has many great elements in it, yet there are several places where it could be much better. The author is clearly really familiar with the source material and shows that off in several ways. Maybe a tad too much in places, but that's not really an issue. The story is a fun thought experiment and kept me reading for a long time.
A large portion of the story is written in almost what I'd call a diary or report fashion. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing is that it suits the setting of a war that spans over years, and it also shows that not everything needs to be laid out in detail. The downside is that it would really be nice to get closer to the action on occasion. At a certain point the thing just turns into an endless porridge of 'conquered planet X, Y and Z, conquered these ladies and came up with a hundred new inventions.'
The problem is that we almost never get to see or feel those planets conquered, or get to see those new technologies used. I'm a sci-fi buff, so I actually know what almost all of these inventions are and mean. But I'd like to see them used and not just mentioned. The only ones that get any time are the ships, and even those could see more focus honestly. I'm also familiar with most of the planet names and general geography, but an endless stream of planet names gets boring after a time. Great, Coruscant/Corellia/whatever got mentioned. Now could we actually go there and see the place other than from orbit?
I think the biggest wasted chance in the story are the characters though. So a slight spoiler, our MC goes romancing his way through the majority of the female population of the galaxy. That's fine. I can enjoy the ride. The problem is, we don't actually get familiar with the people involved. We don't really get to spend time with more than maybe one or two characters in the entire story. Not even the Voices get a lot of time. I've read most of what's written, but I st - AgasthenesRoyal Road★★ 2.0Read till chapter shards.
Mc has no character at all, every other Charakter is in no way introduced they are just there. Maybe some are recognizable if you are very literate in the legends canon. Otherwise you will be completely lost.
Mcs powers are never explained he can just absorb the power of dead jedi.
Everybody just bows to Mcs ideas and wishes.
The author plunges together half knowledge in a crude thoughtless manner. Planner has ammonia atmosphere. Let's build nanobots that take the ammonia and build awesome fertilizer and bombs. Now planet has oxygen atmosphere. Where does the oxygen come from? Doesn't seem to matter.
It seems the author has ideas and goes with them without spending second to think them through.
2 stars for starwars and effort.. - lambRoyal Road★★ 1.5The story is a mess. The order of events is confusing, let alone how events are happening. Conversations are interrupted with a reminder of where you are. The only reasons I can think of for these breaks is to remind everyone what’s going on, becuase it isn’t explained well, or taking a commercial break. There was a god introduced in the beginning that transports the main character, Pef, into Star Wars. He does nothing else. There isn’t really a plot so much as there is a omnipowerful Pef succeeding until he needs to fail.
So what happens when he fails? Well nothing. He could lose the lines of dialogue he is in ‘love’ with. Maybe the intergalactic superpower he spent less than a year to build. The main character literally cannot die outside of suicide.
Let’s talk about grammar, leaving out all of the typos, incomplete sentences, and missing punctuation. The words just aren’t written in a colorful way. It is a joy ride from one red stop-light to the next, ending with a traffic jam. This is made worse by the fact that the author uses Star Wars terminology instead of describing anything. To put it into perspective, they are the kind of terms you would be asked about during a Star Wars themed trivia night.
The characters don’t make sense, what they can do, why they can do it, and how they can do it, don’t make sense. Don’t question anything, just accept it or you will pull your hair out.
If all those reasons weren’t enough the book has a sexist theme to it, until the main character decides to just be open with it. No I am not talking about bigoted traditions described in the book. So maybe it’s some humiliation porn? Nope, the main character will flop like a wet noodle around anything declaring them self female, be it random encounters, aliens, or sentient rocks. Nothing is coherent in this fan-fiction. It would not even pass as the most sexual it gets is an unfunny vibe joke.
Spend an hour thinking what characters in Star Wars could’ve done. It will be more entertainin
