Description

In the 21st century, an event known as the Great Shift of 2030 destroyed 90% of life on earth. A new race known as the Shifters emerged.

200 years later, countless wars divided what was left of civilization into two areas: The city-states controlled by the crime fighting SPA, and the badlands controlled by lawless bandits.

Axel, a powerless Shifter in 2230, has vivid dreams of future events that never seem to come true. He has dreams of Joining the SPA academy and becoming an agent, but he is unable to deal with a bully at his local school. As Axel progresses and becomes stronger he begins to wonder, if his dreams are just dreams, or are they warnings from the future of a destiny he cannot escape?

This novel was originally posted as Shifters, and now I am bringing a rewritten version here. I am the original author.

This story occasionally features images and manga panels.

    Folks,
This is Gab's 3rd-ish attempt to write a superhero web comic. I have read through all 3 phases and stayed waiting through his crisis of paycheck in the real world.  The story lines up well around a central character and his associates. The main character starts off way behind the power curve for almost everyone on the planet and then comes into his own right at the end of High School.  Most of the world is composed of jerks, the people in charge are jerks, and the enemies are jerks. Really makes me feel like I am reading from the point of view of High School again.
Sit down and give it a read. I believe you will enjoy it for it's own unique viewpoint that the author is still working to perfect.
